Clean, fresh look for travel or around town
Comfortable, useful and versatile, for travel or home use. Protects from sun and other elements, but doesn't look purely utilitarian. I purchased S, and am 34A. If I had a bigger chest, I'd need a larger size, as the buttons verge on gaping in that area.

Light and comfortable
I purchased this shirt to wear on a hiking trip. I used it for sun protection during the day, and also at night when the temps cooled down. This shirt was super comfortable. It stayed dry in the heat and also provided some warmth in the evenings.

Easy, light-weight and can be dressed up for style

Great for hiking but don't get the white one
I have two Silver Ridge Lite long sleeve shirts. One plaid, one white. As far as functionality goes, these are fantastic shirts for hiking. They are lightweight, dry quickly, the sun protection is great, and the vents are nice for breathability. However, if you order the white one it will look ridiculous unless you wear a white undershirt with it. The white shirt should really be called "semi-transparent." Everywhere the fabric is doubled--such as the pockets, seams, and button panel--the shirt is white. Everywhere else (the main body and sleeves) the fabric is see-through. Seriously. It looks nothing like the white shirt in the product photo.

i tried it on at a localREI store. got 20$ cheaper here.quality. reg. not a slim fit. has some stitching front back to feel like sliming effect. see thru, u must wear with a base layer if you r looking to keep ya cool in hi heat wear polyester tank to wick away or a workout shirt. looks good with my skirts, capris, fits loose i am 5'7 165 bust is 39 waiste 36 hip 42. i have some rolls around stomach tummy. not tight at all. fairly loose.going to be great from my home in california to Utah, Idaho Falls when i go see the totality eclipse.

Best sun-protective shirt I've found
Would recommend. I tried 3 different brands of SPF/sun protection long sleeved shirts this summer, and I like the Columbia Silver Ridge Lite Long Sleeve the best, as it's a nice fit and the lightest weight material, so good on hot days. Got both a dark blue & a dark green one. I wear large size 75% of the time and medium 25% of the time (depending on the brand/fit), and in this shirt the medium fit me the best.

I prefer the regular version for my tall/slender figure
I like the regular version of this shirt better. I have several of the others and will not be purchasing anymore of this lite version.The reason I will not buy more is the fit is different that the regular version. This one is looser and a touch shorter in the body. Arms are still nice and long. I am tall and slender, the regular version fits my figure better. This version fits baggy in the body. I feel it looks a little sloppy. Another reason is I prefer it without the chest pocket and this shirt easily snags. I do enjoy the thinner fabric, better in hotter weather but I’ll take fit over feel.

Dependable quality and fit from Columbia
I've several of these sun shirt type garments. They wash and dry well without creasing, and the material is light and airy but manages to be durable!

Definite Return
Very disappointed in shirt; will be returning.Have a very old Columbia Omni Shade long sleeve shirt - good quality. Was very happy with it, but it was getting a little old and I thought I could do with an updated version.New one - in white - is made of very very thin material, almost see through. Can't imagine what you would wear under it as anything would be completely visible. Can see all the seams of the shirt against the pink of my skin. If I was to wear a shirt under it, the shirt color would be seen so the shirt would no longer look remotely white.Still on the hunt for a summer long sleeve shirt.

these are the best, buy on sale!
I bought three white columbia shirts last summer so be more sun smart. Hello, let's try and slow the aging process, and stay comfortable. I love them, but am horrible at keeping whites white, so I found these in black, for 7$!!! I bought the max, 3. I'm happy about them, they're great for running around after little boys in the summer, camping and dress up occasionally for a professional appearance. I wear a XS in the other style with a bust zipper pocket in white, the small in this style is a bit roomier as expected. It's nice for wearing over another top. I've noticed they are durable, easy to wash and throw in the dryer on low-medium and don't require ironing, because who actually makes time for that?
