Reliable and easy to use!
Best bang for your bucks! It's not the cheapest and I would stay away from the cheapest in general because if you end up with one less snowshoe...good luck on finding a way to resolve that! This lit was ready to use from the very start, it's light weight and the size is appropriate for my weight (190lbs) and the snow stick...I skipped it since I didn't see the need for it in my situation. I took these snow set out to North Tahoe where I did about 1 miles in fresh snow and I'm so glad I brought these! Here is one thing I will recommend on getting to make the strap stay in place because the little buckle end where it's supposed to keep your strap to your snowshoe...that part of the component is cheap and crappy. It broke maybe the first few minutes. I did a makeshift using a ziptide to hold the straps to the shoe. Works like a charms...of course after the entire trip was over. I went ahead and bought myself a buckle strap to ensure the straps are sticking to the shoe and not tangling out potentially causing the snowshoe to unwind itself. Overall, great product and no manual required because everything was fairly intuitive.

Perfect for Sequoia National Forest snow adventure
This was my first time snowshoeing. Super easy to walk in, light weight, love the "bindings" with toe box, poles are great. Glad I got 30 inch size not 25 for deeper powder. (6 foot 200lbs) Ice crampons worked great in crusty icy stuff. Loved that I could just pull over and trek off into the woods following animal tracks in the snow with no concerns. Or adventure off and explore around camp. Seeing things I would have otherwise missed was great. Being off trail, in the forest, in the snow, appreciating mother natures beauty was so amazing and totally worth the time and effort. Wish I had bought these years ago. I'm no pro but the quality, features, ease of use and performance seem awesome for the price.

A GREAT Value for the money!
I did a lot of research before purchasing these, to learn the features and what would suit me best. I'm a beginner, never had snowshoed before. I live in NW Indiana where we get a fair amount of snow, but not lasting. I'm 75 so I needed something easy to get on and off for my first try. These are really great. They are fairly easy to get on, but I had to watch a video to see how the straps worked. The straps across the toes are kind of a rigid plastic and a little tough to snug around a hiking boot. I would say that the buckling system around a shoe is a little harder to use, but you get what you pay for! It IS a ratcheting system, which you don't usually find on inexpensive snowshoes. But once I got them on, they were great! These snowshoes have some features that much more expensive snowshoes have, like a heel bar to raise when you are climbing hills. I am using these for moderate hiking in a local park and they worked well. They come with adjustable poles which compare to my Black Diamond trekking poles, but the fasteners for the these poles are much more cheaply made and seem as though they might pop loose over time. I like these snowshoes for the bottom design--they have crampons in the toes, and crampons in the heel, but not all the way around the shape of the shoe, (which more expensive snowshoes have) which is just fine for relatively flat trails and small inclines up and down at my local park. Overall, I love these and I love the snazzy black and red design. They have performed well for me and I loved my first experience using them at my county park. I highly recommend them for a beginner. The price point is terrific for what you get.

Awesome!
I’ve never snowshoed before but decided to try it out this winter. I got these snowshoes largely because of the price and the good reviews. I’ve used them three times so far, and I’m super happy with them! They’re easy to get into and walk in. Despite never using snowshoes before, I had no problem with using them from the start. They’re a ton of fun. I’m sure the ones that cost much more are better, but I have zero complaints about these. They’re lightweight, comfortable to use, and seem like they’ll last several years. They’re perfect for new or recreational snowshoer. The bag and poles are very convenient. I did lose temporarily one of the pole baskets (aka the plastic ring thing at the bottom a pole) and had to trek back to find it. It’s not a big deal but just something to be aware of. As far as other things you need, there’s not much. In addition to whatever snow gear you think is appropriate, I’d *highly* recommend getting leg gaiters if your pants don’t have them built in. You’ll be kicking up snow, and they keeps it out of your boots. I got a pair of knee high ones on Amazon that worked great. As far as shoes to use with these, I was concerned that my regular hiking shoes would not be enough, but they absolutely were. As long as your shoes are at least water resistant and supposed to be for walking/hiking, they’re probably fine. The snowshoes did not seem to damage my shoes at all.

Best deal we found
Well made and easy for a first-time snowshoer to get started. It didn't take long to fit them and be on snow. The case was what drew us to this pair. Strap length adjustable and stable.

Great snowshoes for winter
Durable, effective snowshoes for winter hiking. I’ve used this set for the last two winters. The straps have held out fine. I’ve used them up to 3 feet of snow and 20 below zero. I really gave them a workout. I thought the straps would be the first thing to go but I was wrong. Well worth the money.

Good, but only if the trail is already packed
These are fine. I used them a fair bit last winter and they did the job decently. I just unpacked them for the first time this winter. We have 26 inches of very fine, dry snow. These were no match for it. Every step I sank in at least a foot. Sure, some sinkage is expected, but these really weren't usable in such conditions. So: serviceable enough on packed or not very deep snow, but not much beyond that.

Great snowshoes
Nice snowshoes. I like that they have a full “cage” for your boot. The snowshoes are easy to put on and take off. The poles are easy to adjust and it all comes in a handy bag. I like the colour (blue) as well. For the price, it’s a good kit.

Snowshoes
This is the first set of snowshoes I have owned. It is also the first time I have used snowshoes. I found them easy to put on and use. I was able to climb up and down a snow covered ridge with know problem. I have enjoyed using them.

Brilliant bit of kit
Purchased for a trip to the Dolomites this winter & they were fantastic. Does not come with manual on how to wear, but simple enough to figure out. Comes with two poles which are great and a bag to store the snowshoes and poles in. Would highly recommend!
