I've been impressed by this device. Given its price, it is well-made and effective. I have suffered with a stiff neck and "nerd neck" (my head in an almost permanent forward position, straightening the neck unhealthily) for a few years due to poor posture at my desk. Having used this device several times for 10 minutes a go and consciously bringing my head back and performing neck stretches (when I remember!) over a few weeks, my neck posture has improved considerably. Initially, my muscles ached due to the adjustments, but now where the back of my head used to be flat it is now curved again, and my neck feels in a more natural position and less stiff. It's very easy to use - I lie on it in bed at night - and so long as you position it correctly (I place the peak just below the bottom of my skull) it is comfortable. I definitely recommend the device for mild neck complaints and in conjunction with other efforts.

It's absolutely fine and helpful for neck pain. I used it both on the floor as described as on the sofa watching TV. It's not going to magically heal your neck, you need to fix your bad posture and/or mobile phone habits to resolve long term neck pain, but this helps in the process and provides some pain relief.

Sadly the description is misleading. I expected something with a little "give" to enclose the neck in a comfortable hold. However this is made of hard material, does not yield to the weight of my head and is not at all comfortable for use in rest or sleeping.

Really great tool has helped me out of migraines and sore necks

Don’t know if my neck is just an awkward length, but I can’t use it laying down. It’s good for keeping your neck stable when you’re sitting upright.

I’d definitely recommend to only use this on the floor since you are adjusting your neck, you’ll want to do it against a surface that can’t adjust on their end and you can just make adjustments as needed on your end. It’s firm but is made of a foam style of material. I have chronic neck issues that often put me out for several days but as a stay at home mom, I can’t afford the time down!! This cuts healing time by a TON! I just lay on it on the floor for 15 minutes a day when I have a flare up. After, I’ve been doing it once a week and have felt a considerably less amount of pain than I usually do. I’ve had it for about three months now I think? Maybe two?

Just another crap product...

Fantastic support that makes getting rest and sleep possible after painful whip lash. Not soft and not hard, just right for support and cradling my painful head and neck. It allowed shoulders, taps and SCM to relax and unwind from the hard job of holding my head up. Relief from the feeling that my head is a painfully heavy bowling ball. This is well worth the money for pain relief and getting some rest. I feel like I'm on the road to healing now. The curve is gentle enough a heating pad can wrap over it. Incidentally this is useful when trying to de-stress while listening to meditative music and audio books. I'll definitely use it when physical therapy is over.
