You don't have to screw books to shelf - the bottom of the shelf has a lip in the back - all you need to do (when shelf is mounted on a wall) is to put the back cover underneath the shelf and it hooks into the lip. Choosing the bottom book to anchor the stack is important. Shelf also will work as a speaker holder or holder for other equipment or things - also CD's and DVD's

Excellent quality
Excellent quality floating bookshelf bought as a pair for my pc speakers and works great. All steel construction with black powder coat finish, which goes great with my dark grey wall. I'm very happy with these as I have been looking for ages for something to suit and I came across these only by chance. They are very heavy duty with the huge wall plugs and screws that come with them which means bigger speakers at a later date possibly?... as they'll take a bit of weight! They also have a hole in the base which fit my speaker cable through, perfect!!!

Perfect for book shelf speakers
I wanted a pair of speaker shelves for my Wharfedale Diamond 9.0 speakers, and I was struggling to find anything suitable. I came across these, saw they were for books, but with the hole at the back (to accomodate speaker wire) knew that they could be what I was looking for ... So I took a chance and I'm really glad I did. Very discreet (its like the shelves aren't even there (which is exactly what I wanted)) and so sturdy, they can easily deal with the weight of the speakers. I couldn't be happier. A great product at a very competitive price. And multiple uses!!

Exactly what it said. Though not an exact 90 degree L more like 87 as against then wall the shelf part tilted up slightly. I bought a 2nd one for a pair of book shelf speakers but ultimately returned both as I returned the speakers I bought these for and hadn’t even taken one out the packing. Recommended tho.

Beautifully made
Bought this as a shelf for a Huawei 5G broadband router, rather than for the intended use as a book shelf mounting, but it worked brilliantly and is the perfect size for the router!

Very strong and easy to fit. Just right to hold the ceramic owl I purchased for my Echo Dot which is also white. Really pleased with both.
