Japanese tool what else can I say? Well made, balanced and works flawlessly.

Good starter chisel for someone. Works great for mortising doors.

Holds an edge pretty well. Handle is comfortable

First chisel chipped repeatedly while striking it with a mallet. Very cheap quality metal. Replacement chisel was badly bent out of the box. To the point that it’s not worth flattening/straightening. Just spend more money and get a nicer chisel
