Q: Do you use conditioner in shower before you use the leave-in before styling?

Use your shampoo and conditioner as you would regularly. When you get out the shower, use this leave-in conditioner. Style hair as usual. You can use a bit of styling product on the front of your hair to keep flyaways down, but this by itself works for me. The kind of shampoo and conditioner you use matters when using this product. I use Mane and Tail and it's a good mix. One time I used a Pantene Foam Conditioner and it stripped my hair of all the moisture this product had given me. Had to start my regimen all over. After about a week and a half, my hair was starting to get back to a good moisture level. Use a quality moisture-based shampoo and conditioner in conjunctio with this product.

Well I use it once a week as a deep conditioner. I shampoo and condition daily with other products. I have always conditioned the heck out of my hair, even using a spray leave in daily. However this product makes your hair soft and I love it.

Q: What does it smell like?

I am ultra- sensitive to smells; but I can handle this shampoo / conditioner easily. Smells great but it works the best on my crazy thick hair
