Atrend Pro Series 12 Inch Dual Vented Car Subwoofer Enclosure - Better Bass, Charcoal

This is the 3rd enclosure i've had my JL Audio subs in and i think this will be their forever home.. Feels like a nice quality bit of kit, sounds great with no distortion, reasonably priced and delivered 3 days early, what more could you want.!

Well, if you look at the last two images, you will see where my sub (Toro Force 12) powered by a RF p1000x2 @ 2 ohms, literally ripped itself out of my first box a Qbomb 12 ported. Yeah...never had that happen in my life! I was impressed and upset all at the same time. So after doing some research I found the Atrend 12" SPL box. It was close to optimal size ( I did line the inside with polyfil as you can see in the first two images. This brought it to about 2.5-2.6 cu. ft internally. This box is KILLER! The response is outstanding! I currently have it running the Force 12 however stepped up my amp to the SKAR 2000.1. With the gain at nominal and the head unit setting the sub output to -1 it still kills it! I am more than happy with this box. Now, I did reinforce the walls with screws all the way around (Hey, I like to go the extra mile...) to make sure there were no kind of issues, but honestly, don't even think I needed to. Soundly assembled and the method they use is quite impressive. I am more than satisfied with Atrend and the box they build.

This box meets all my requirements. It's solid and heave with nice carpeting. The box is made with very high quality material. I put this box in my Acura TL and wanted a ported box rather than a sealed box because to me a ported box offers a much deeper bass than the close box which delivers a punchy bass. I listen to a lot of hip hop and r&b and this box helps my subs deliver a nice rich deep base. The system I have with this box is a 500W mono Amp with a 600W rms competition sub from pioneer A good thing to do when buying a sub box is to look at the space requirements that your sub woofer has to make sure you are giving your subwoofer the proper amount of space to deliver its sound.

This box was 220 when I bought one and they’re down to 170 something now which is a steal, I’ve beat the crap out of mine and it’s been in 3 car accidents and it has no air leaks, no bulging on the sides, very sturdy, not bad considering I’ve had this for 2-3 years and it’s seen hell. I have a pair of skar 15” 1200 watt max per speaker (2400 max, 1200 rms total) in the bbox dual ported 15” box. I had it running off a 6000w max, 3000w rms taramps amp and with it on rms (for the subs (1200w) power with my subs in a sedan is so loud you can’t hear anything outside the vehicle including loud vehicles and construction and makes the windshield flex and making the windshield wipers bounced up and down, it’s a very quality box with also pretty good subs in it as well, also has now made my rear view mirror fall off.😂 you can’t beat the quality for this price especially if you’re trying to go a little bit less expensive and you don’t wanna have to go get a custom one made (which is the best option) but for a prefab one with good sound and good airflow in the port for this price it’s a great option if you’re not tryna pay an arm and leg but still want good sound.
