Carhartt Men's Tacoma Ripstop Pant

The company initially sent me a 34 length (I am a 32) by mistake, and after I contacted them they informed me they did not have these particular pants in my size. However, they offered to send me a different pair (one with pockets on the side, and double-front construction) and I really like them. Both were made of the ripstop material which (at least initially, and after a month or so of work) seems very durable while being lightweight. They are not as light as the canvas cotton pants, but I would wager they will last a bit longer.One note on fit--they fit true to size, and my size is the same as the other carhartts I own, but they have a much slimmer cut through the legs. I have big legs, and they are still a great choice for my active job, but you will not have the same kind of room you do in the washed duck classic carhartts.

Good material and design. The cell phone pocket is the draw for me, it's well placed and should fit most cell phones. I'm a true 31" waist and 75% of 30" waist pants will fit me (I just don't buy the ones that don't fit, never go up to 32"). I got a 31" waist on this and it's right on so a 30" will definitely not fit. Hope it helps. Can't comment on durability as I'm wearing this just to bump around.

These were much smaller in the waist than other pants in my closet with the same measurements. I sent them back and got something that should have been way too big, but the waist was perfect. However, they're a bit wide in the leg now (but still one of my favorite pants).They hold up better than the ripstop Tacoma pant, partly because they have slightly stiffer fabric, and partly because they don't have snaps or flaps on the back pockets.

Ordered a 36 waist and it is perfect. Only issue would be I normally wear a 34 in most other pants. Ripstop material is very light and should be nice for warmer weather days when shorts are less appropriate. Only issue is, there seems to be a seem that runs the back of my leg. We'll see if a wash or two doesn't soften this up. Otherwise, great product.

These are good pants, nice cut, seem to be well made and are comfortable to wear. My only knock is that Carhartt sizing is non-standard and is always a size too small in the waist and a size too long in the leg. So if you wear 34X32 pants in every other manufacturer, you will need to order 36x30 Carhartts if you want them to fit.

Light breathable material definitely is the reason these were bought, not for work though I don't trust the rip stop aspect around a construction site. Very comfortable but buy a size bigger waist and if you have to wear a belt but it's not worth them shrinking they are 100% very light cotton.

It’s not been 3-years and I still have these pants, used for work that includes harsh conditions, rain, heat, cold, heavy physical interaction, climbing, crawling on the ground, working around heavy machines, etc, these pants hold up, there’s still not a rip, a tear, or a stain, highly recommend

After reading reviews I assumed these pants run about 1" small on the waist. I order the next larger waist size and they are about 1" too wide. The material and weight of the pants are great and cooler than most for the Miami weather. Definitely will order more in dark brown and tan. The pockets are also somewhat small.

My second pair of these fantastic pants. Material is light weight but very durable. Very comfortable to wear even in hot weather.Love the phone pocket!If your thinking about getting these , I would say, just do it!Also delivery was prompt.

Great comfortable trousers. Fabric is lightweight without being flimsy. Fantastic alternative to jeans.

gute Freizeithose, gefällt mir weit besser als die version mit Schenkeltaschen. die Handy Tasche auf der rechten Seite seh ich als eher unbrauchbar an, hier wäre ein Verschluss nötig, wenn man sitzt rutscht das Telefon sehr leicht raus da die Tasche nicht sehr tief ist.Aber um €19.90 seh ich keinen Grund zur Beschwerde, preiswerter geht's nimmer.

Ware Made in China, Stoff und Verarbeitung sehen ordentlich aus, Farbe wie im Bild.Hosenbund fällt allerdings kleiner aus als angegeben, Länge ist ok. Ich habe jedoch in meinem Kleiderschrank Jeanshosen in Bundweite 34 und 36. Zwar habe ich bei dieser Hose auch eine 36 gekauft(es steht zumindest so auf dem Etikett), aber wenn ich vergleiche ist es in Wirklichkeit eben "nur" eine 34.Mir passt sie glücklicherweise, Sport sei Dank, trotzdem, so dass ich sie nicht zurücksenden muss...
