HoMedics MeMyElos Replacement Cartridge for MeMyElos Permanent Hair Removal Unit

Stephen's Wife: I was surprised how quickly this works. After one session which took under an hour for full leg, arm, underarm and bikini line, there was a distinct reduction in hair regrowth. Normally after shaving every day on legs and arms there would be stubble by end of day. It took two to three days to have the same amount of stubble which didn't seem as harsh as usual. I have now used the machine four times, every two weeks and there is very little regrowth. I went on holidays and only shaved once at the end of the week. I had been epilating my underarms for years and my skin always looked dark with the regrowth even though I have blonde hair - now there is the odd hair. I had salon laser work done on my bikini line with good effect but not permanent. Now, there is very little regrowth although this has been the most stubborn area. I am extremely pleased with the results and within the next couple of sessions I expect to be completely hair free. I also have a condition called Keratosis pilaris which is a common and harmless condition where the skin becomes rough and bumpy, as if covered in permanent goose pimples. With each treatment my skin becomes much softer and less difficult to maintain. I can happily bare my legs now without having to worry if I have shaven that morning. This is over a period of two months - how fantastic is that. This is the best investment I have made in terms of hair removal and I bought the machine second hand from eBay for £50. That's after spending thousands on commercial laser treatments that didn't work. I would recommend this product very highly.

Very disappointed. Yeah cartridge is supposed to have over 5000 pulses. I have only used it a few times and it dropped from 100% to 80%. They don't last that long at all and I will not buying another one.

Just what I wanted at a good price.Delivery was speedy and packaged well.Will be ordering again.

I wish that I could give this a higher rating. The MeMyElos certainly works, and after using it for the past couple of years it has permanently removed my body hair in all the personal places. It's brilliant! I'd give it a higher rating, but I can't because the replacement heads just don't last long enough and cost far too much, and the contacts can be temperamental - I've spent more on cartridges than I did on the original high price of the complete machine.

Good product - does exactly what it says ... BUT shame on you Homedics for discontinuing this product. How do we use the kit when you discontinue the cartridges . The kit was over £400 to buy and you discontinue the cartridge in preference to a new and incompatible design. . This is going to make a very expensive paperweight . Bad business !! Great that amazon had one cartridge left to order.

Good for money, will last upto 4 months..depending on use. Hair does eventually stop growing.

It's a good product to use, already showing results and works on asian skin tones. Epilator attachement is very good to use as well. Only negative is that the cartridges run out quickly

I'm on my third Cartridge and I do have slower hairgrov now than earlier, specially om my arms, less effective on my legs. The product is not that expensive if it has sustainable effect, which I still can not say for sure. I plan to use it every secont til third week until summer and then take a brake to evaluate.I have used it for 3 months now.Does anyone have longer experience?
