Marvellous book, quick delivery what more can I ask for

As a zoo lover myself, I bought this hoping to find an interesting read about the father of modern zoos. But it is so technical, I could not make it past the first few pages. I flipped to a chapter in the middle to try to start at another section, but only made it two pages into that. This is strictly a book for scholarly research - it is in no way a popular level book. The photos are nice, but unless you enjoy books that read like formal college textbooks or scholarly journals, I would advise skipping it.
