Will these spike my blood sugar?

Each cookie contains just 1.5g net carbs — the carbohydrate your body actually metabolises once you subtract the gut-friendly fibre. They’re designed not to cause the spikes regular biscuits do.

Is it made with British Butter?

Yes! Real British butter is the lead ingredient, exactly as you’d use at home. No palm oil, no seed oils, no hydrogenated fats. It’s what gives the cookies their proper soft-baked texture.

What do you sweeten them with?

Nothing artificial. No maltitol, no erythritol, no sucralose. None of the sugar alcohols that cause blood sugar spikes and digestive upset. The sweetness comes from the ingredients themselves including the chicory root which has a natural sweetness.

Are the bars gluten free?

Yes every cookie is gluten free and grain free, built on ground almonds rather than flour. They contain real butter, so they’re vegetarian rather than vegan (our bars are the plant-based option).
