They fit securely and have elastic gore that allows for a more customized fit. Our own Pinnacle Wool insoles provide the known and trusted PowerStep shape which enhances alignment, arch support, and comfort. The heel tab on the back allows for easy on/off. The upper of the ArchWear™ Twin-Gore Slippers for men is made of a stylish, durable microfiber featuring elastic panels for easy slip-on wear, and lined with soft, faux shearling. The signature PowerStep arch shape cradles the arch and heel, providing that extra support your foot lacks when wearing unsupported footwear. The built-in arch support and heel cradle add stability and motion control to limit excess stress on feet, ankles, joints, and tendons. The ArchWear Twin-Gore Slippers are lightweight to help reduce fatigue and feature a non-slip tread for better traction on wet or slippery surfaces. With a soft, comfy feel of fleece and arch support, the ArchWear Twin-Gore Slippers are a great option when staying indoors, but can also be used outside. FOR THE MOST COMFORTABLE FIT For first time PowerStep users or if you are new to orthotic shoes, a break-in period may be required. For the most comfort during this transition period only wear slippers a few hours a day until feet are accustomed to all day support and stability. ◈SPECIAL NOTE◈ Slippers run small and are available in whole sizes only. Please size up to the next whole size if you are between sizes. Review: Comfy and warm - Fit as expected, size 13 fits snug with little rubbing. The arch is perfect for my feet, these are very comfortable and warm without making my feet sweat. So far they have worn well, I don't wear them outside so the sole isn't wearing down. Review: Warm AND supportive - the perfect slipper - I bought these because I had other slippers that were plenty warm but had ZERO support in the sole. I know that slippers are not shoes but still if you have flat feet or just need some level of support then wearing slippers is not quite as comfortable. I can say now that I am super pleased with this purchase. I work from home and have been wearing these every day since they arrived. They are plenty warm AND they support my arches so I have no problem going all day in them. And the sole is plenty sturdy for going outside and even quick errands to the store (depending on how style-conscious you are). If you are on the fence about these, I would urge you to try them out!
