It was perfect contained everything I needed to make my katana feel and look clean again and the the oil is perfect with great coat shading and smell would definitely recommend.

I bought used like new because I just needed an extra little brass hammer for my katana builds. I was not expecting it be completely unused and surprisingly good quality. Looks great displayed next to the stand as well.

Just a neat little travel kit. All of the "traditionally essential" maintenance materials are included and contained very efficiently. I think this is the nicest looking design that is available here on Amazon. Other sellers should take some initiative and follow this brilliant marketing idea of Original Katana Swords company - by making their own kit with their own logo. Everything has its place, and it must all go back together the same way it came out, if you plan to keep using it. Durability seems adequate for what it is. Maybe buy a second one of these if you plan to actually use this kit. I consider mine to be more of a last resort, rather than the primary. Care should be taken with the Choji oil bottle, because it can leak if left upside down with a loose cap - it does smell nice, but it can leak out if not taken care of properly. I use mine as a prop for designating the katana area. The maintenance materials that I actually use for my gear won't fit inside this little box, but that's not what I got it for. Recommendation: Yes. I got mine during a rare and brief sale price, so I am pleased with the value of my purchase. I expect everyone should want a couple of these, even if you don't plan to use it. Carbon steel REQUIRES regular care to be taken of it, no matter how you choose to get it done.

Comes with everything you need and the quality of the items are great.

I only needed the essential items, but was really impressed by the cloth and the box. Cloth can be used for precise cleaning of metals needing polish. The box is outstanding appearance and quality. Minor negative is it is tight fit. Uchiko Ball is maybe not top quality, but I'm not complaining.

I ordered 2 custom swords from this seller. I did make a fair amount of changes - but the seller wasn't honest from the get go. I asked for custom tips on both swords and was charged for this. The work was not done. I asked for hishigami wrap under the handle - again charged but not done. I asked for a leather handle on one sword, again charged but not done. I paid $50 usd for custom 'engraving' which is the poorest quality etching I have ever seen. My $4 keychain from AliExpress was better quality. One Saya was way too tight, and the other was so loose the sword would just fall out. But the worst part was the handle. The handles were not tied properly to the pommel if the sword - so on a sword that it 'fully functional' they used a small dab of hot glue. I took a proper grip and swing, and the pommel completely detached. The seller would not refund without me paying $60 shipping. So I am out $60 and get absolutely nothing.
