Super Big Fat Pens: Large, Easy to Hold Pens for Arthritis (4 pack), Longer Lasting Black Ink Cartridge

Love these fat pens! I have always had poor penmanship partially due to being left handed and partly because my hand would cramp when I write a lot. Lately I was struggling with numbness in my hand which made writing difficult. I ordered these pens and I must say I'm in love. Yes, they are quite fat, but my handwriting is the best it's been and no hand cramps. I've included a photo with my writing with this pen, a lefty pen and a normal comfort grip pen and this one is the clear winner. Pen is the most comfortable of the 3. Highly recommend! Another review mentioned swapping the ink for a gel refill. As a leftie, I don't recommend that at all. These write smooth and no smudging. Gel would definitely smudge.

My dad has chemo induced neuropathy in his hands and can't hold a regular pen anymore. He likes these. He takes it with him to his appointments and doesn't feel as impaired being able to sign his name easier, and doesn't have to struggle trying to hold a normal pen infront of staff (not that they are bothered by it, but it bothered him). It came with a pack of refills, which we haven't had to use yet, so I can't say how easy it is. They write nice. The attached lanyard is a bonus, and they don't have caps to lose. Over all, I'm glad I got them for him and would definitely buy again. I'll try to remember to update with a video or something later.

UPDATE: I bought another package of these a few days ago, as I have given them to someone who asks me about them. I checked each pen, and they all write with no skips, and all pens are assembled correctly. In the package also comes a package of 4 quality refills. The refills are metal, not cheap plastic ones! I bought a product like these in blue (not clear) and many pens didn't write at all when new. Several were missing parts, so they didn't work. I buy ahead, so by the time I realized it, I couldn't return them. Also their refills were cheap plastic ink cartridges. What is also really nice, is inside the package is a note from the owner of the company, with their phone number and email address. If you have issues, you can deal with them, but I don't have to! I may call to thank him for the quality of these pens. It appears this is a small family owned business. They sure take pride in their product!! Sticking with the original headline- if you need "fat pens" because you have issues with your hands, this is THE PEN TO BUY! (They also have removable lanyards on them!) I gave one to my rheumatologist! These work Great if you have arthritis in your hands, or any hand issues. They also came with nice refills, not the little plastic flimsy refills. (In metal, bit plastic ) Each one of them actually worked, which I can't say about 2 other brands that I purchased before these. I am very happy with these! After trying two other brands, this is the one to buy!

I can't say enough good about these pens! I try to always keep stocked up on them. I have arthritis, fibromyalgia and diabetic peripheral neuropathy and can't write with regular pens anymore. These pens are very comfortable in my hand with a good grip, long lasting ink and enable me to write again. I've been using them for a year or so now and plan to keep doing so. I highly recommend them for those who need a bigger pen for writing. They make a big difference. They felt a little heavy and awkward initially but I quickly got used to them and my hands adjusted and I was able to do some writing again make my lists etc.

I still have the rest of the set of pens I bought. One of my pet peeves is when I pen I just bought struggles to write smoothly. I think I had it maybe 24 hours before it acted up. And the blue loop that was a part of it has also come off it. Other than that, the reason I bought it initially, was how it handles in my hands. I do have some carpal tunnel and neuropathy issues and that part about the pens was good...easy on the hand.
