Sturdy, compact, does the job well
Having spent ages looking at various options I opted for this compact 'direct drive' cajon pedal (too many scare stories about cables breaking mid-gig!). So far so good, easy to put up and use and creates a nice sound. Good quality, certainly feels like it will stand the test of time. It would be five stars but for the fact that I feel it's probably a little over-priced. But hey, how often will you buy one of these?!

Pretty good except for noisy rattly mechanism which makes it unusable for my purposes.
I was excited about getting this pedal and did quite a bit of research before choosing this one. I was clear that direct drive would be needed to get the response and action I needed. The superior DW pedal was too pricey, so I went for this one due to the cheaper price and option for use of toe or heel. Performance was not bad and I was optimistic - however, the mechanism makes a loud and very irritating clicking noise. I could not find any way to stop this. I still don't know if I just received a faulty pedal or this is common to all these due to design. It makes it unusable for me as I want to mic up for gigs and also use for recording. If not for this issue I'd definitely have kept it. Sadly, returned it the next day. Amazon returns process really easy and effective. Plan to try the Meinl pedal in case it works as well without the noise problem.

All good so far!!
Read lots of reviews for cajon bass pedals with flexible connections and they were all bad, so having found this one that someone else gave a good write up I was part hesitant. But no need - got a good deal on it with a hefty reduction for it being "shop soiled" - but nothing wrong with it at all. The only thing I found wrong was the puller on the zip on the case was broken. A minor irritant but really not a problem. The unit is easy to assemble, and gives a good solid bass beat on the cajon leaving hands free for other patterns (or even playing guitar). Plenty of scope for variation of the position of the beater, and no sign yet of any mechanical problems. The unit was delivered slightly ahead of the time promised. So all in all, a happy bunny.

Does the Job
Absolutely great, only downside is no instructions at all...fortunately the bass player is an engineer and sussed it straight away whilst taking the piss!...whoโd have thought it, a bass player with a sense of humour

Pedal excellent, user needs some training!
The pedal looks and feels well made and sturdy with lots of adjustments to get the sound you like. The carry bag seems ok, but it's early days. I just need to work out the best way to use it, Toe, Heel, Left leg/Right leg. So far Left heel seems to be best for me.

Robust and well made item, creates nice beat on my cajon, very sensitive use, would recommend

Quality item but base clamp lets it down badly!
Good quality item, but too expensive for what it is! The clamp base is also terrible - it takes the Cajon off the ground, making it rock from side to side! Bad design in my opinion, and it woudn't have taken much thought to make an evenly distributed base with soft feet pads!
