I am always building PCs and upgrading them for myself, family and friends so I tend to buy a lot of PC parts. These Redragon RGPS-850W PSUs were selling for really good prices refurbished. Over the course of several months I bought for of them for really good prices, 2 black ones and 2 white ones. The last white one that I bought was of course refurbished so I got a good price on it, however when it arrived the power chord was missing and that special 12VHPWR (12-volt high power) connector to the NVIDIA GPU was also missing. I was pretty upset about it because I couldn't complete my build so I emailed the company and they responded right away with automated message and then a human follow-up. I could tell their customer service was organized. I told them my problem and they mailed out right away one connecter and the compensated me for another since they did not have in stock. I've been buying redragon products, such as their keyboards and mice as well but this was my first time using customer service. Nonetheless based on their solid customer service, I feel VERY comfortable from buying from them again with peace of mind - they got a loyal customer in me for sure! And yes, all the PSUs I bought from them are all running great, one is powering an rx 9070XT and the other a 4070 Super with ZERO issues. I like that it has a button in the back to change the RGB light or if you hold the button down it turns off the RGB all together. Also there is another button for automatic fan or always on fan setting. Solid buy, solid quality!

So let me start by saying I’m a mid 20 something’s male, so I have *some* understanding of technology mostly Xbox and PlayStation with some VR. I’ve never owned a “Gaming PC” before my current one. The only “pc work” I’ve done prior to installing this PSU for a new GPU to be installed was pulling old RAM sticks and adding new ones. I didn’t even build this PC myself (ghost gaming sky tech), it’s a prebuilt so I have no experience in PSU swaps or anything. If you just follow the instructions and actually use common sense and your eyes in the mobo/gpu/etc you will find this SUPER SIMPLE!!! I was SO SCARED I’d ruin something. The install was FLAWLESS and booted right up. I am so happy cause this has allowed me to run a WAY BETTER GPU than what came originally in my PC thanks to this PSU, it’s ran now for 2 months only being power cycled once and it hasn’t hiccuped at all. It worked perfectly with my new RTX5060 TI, and works flawlessly with the ASrock b560M motherboard, it was a phenomenal value and the length of cables were perfect for my midsize case. It even includes special connectors for compatibility with the more weird gpu’s and motherboards. I’d buy it again and it has LED lighting which ties into my whole PC theme!

Amazing value! I’m really impressed with the quality 100% Japanese capacitors show they didn’t cut corners, and it’s been rock solid powering everything in my build. Trash! Lasted 6 months and died! Red dragon refused to replace it. So did amazon. Don’t buy red dragon I have 5 red dragon products and only 1 was good the rest trash! Won’t buy from them ever again! As I said trash! Don’t waste your money I’m out $90 now and had to pay $120 for a good one and no this was never $125 like they say, that’s just a marketing strategy.

Used to have an EVGA 80+ gold 650W PSU, went with a trusted brand and got a great product. Upgraded my GPU and needed more power for the whole system so I bought this 850W 80+ gold Redragon PSU. I was skeptical but it seems to be made very well in my opinion. The modular cables are great and the price was as well so I am very happy with it.

I bought this on a whim after very minimal searching because a mouse got in my PC and chewed up some cables. Since installing this, my PC is so quiet when running that I've accidentally left my PC running overnight when the RGB turns off when it goes to sleep--and the PSU I had before was pretty top of the line (back in 2022). This was super easy to install and I replaced all my existing cables, some from much more expensive old PSUs, I have with these because they are just so much cleaner looking and feel just as good of quality. My computer boots up so much faster, too, and I noticed I'm saving some on my electric bill since switching, so I'm going to attribute it to this. Absolute bang for your buck, highly recommend.

When the package arrived I was a bit disappointed in seeing it in a plastic bag, like it came from Temu or something. As noted in the pictures, the corner of the box was crunched, although overall it was a-ok once opened. But, once I opened it up, I was quite impressed with the quality of the product. It had a definite heft to it, and there was care in the packaging of the PSU to prevent it from being damaged While being shipped/sold. But installing it, I was a bit confused because in the OG case it was going into it didn't quite line up for all 4 of the included screws and I think I bit into the case a bit before I stopped and looked it up. You only need 2 screws to safely mount a PSU in a case apparently and it doesn't seem to have affected the PSU at this point. The cables came with a tester for the PSU to ensure that it works before you even installed it, that is what the black connector is in the last picture. Albeit frightening to a PSU newbie like me, all you do is place the PSU on a non-conductive surface, stick that onto the main power cable and turn it on. If the fan spins and the shiny lights come on, its working. Once installed I was pleasantly surprised by the length of the cables and while other reviews for the Red Dragon 850w power supply mention how stiff they are, I found looping the CPU and motherboard power connector around the openings in my case easy. It takes a bit of pushing and pulling but if you know what your doing, it'll be ok. Now, for some cons: I was really scared that my PSU was not going to work with my brand new RX 7900 GRE Sapphire Pulse, cause whenever I installed it and the drivers my PC kept randomly restarting until I realized it was the drivers, not the PSU breaking down. The brand is rather new, and there are plenty of people who will never give their products a second glance, but as someone who was curious about their mice and other components I've not really been let down too badly by them. If you need a budget PSU in a pinch, this is going to work rather well as long as you don't get a DOA one. But, given the tester, it should be easy to tell if you got a dead one. Budget price or not, I do want to reiterate the fact that this is a very solid PSU, and has done admirably under stress in games like Cyberpunk 2077, PUBG, and Spider-Man Remastered. I will be looking at Red Dragon products in the future.

Clean power, and lots of it. Their specs are modest and they don't brag about theoretical limits, but give you a solid baseline of reliable operation.| This is a piece of engineering excelence so I don't mind endorsing it. Fits well in many of the smaller ATX cabinets. If you plan on running two video cards, this is not the supply for you - but if you need a solid supply for a serious gamer, this supply leads the pack. It looks cool too. A button on the back lets you control the ARGB lighting effects. You won't regret it.

Loved it - got my computer up and running again and matched the LED lights I have! Would def get again.

Beautiful rgbs syncs perfectly with all other rgbs in my friend's PC easy to install and sync up operates as should powers the PC perfectly!
