Can you grow these outside?

Hi,Yes these can be grown outside, but extended periods of time in temperatures below freezing will cause harm to the plant. Similarly, if the plant is in full sun, it could get sunburnt, so partial shade is probably the best for this. I hope this answers your question.Kind Regards,Matthew

how easy is it to edit the pleat once the tree arrives. the picture pleat looks not as tidy as I would have liked.

Mine was fine and I have kept it goinguntil the tree got to the size I wanted..... be careful when you attempt as you can damage the tree

what compost should i re-pot this in?

I have not re-potted it as the only care it really needs until the summer months is water it once every two weeks not allowing it to stand in water (I immerse mine until the bubbles stop and then leave it to stand until water has finished coming out ) I will use a mixture of John Innes No.2 and and then a good multi potting compost... hope this helps

how high is it likely to grow in drawing room?

I'm not a 100% sure, mine is still sprouting, sorry I cannot be of more help.

Great tree

I was disappointment with this. The plant they chose to gave me looks very different to the plants i the picture. My plant was heavily lopsided and ugly looking. Lots of dead leaves too. UPDATE: I have updated this review to 4 stars as with some love and attention this tree has grown well. Love it.

Another great looking plant from Perfect Plants that exceeded my expectations

It looks amazing and a little different with the plaited stem. It arrived far sooner than I expected and like the other plants I’ve bought from them it arrived in perfect condition due to the care they put in to ensuring the plant is safe and secure in its packaging

Such a gorgeous house plant and so few sell the mini version - came beautifully wrapped and packaged, HOWEVER ONE TRUNK WAS COMPLETELY DEAD! Also, slowly realised that the leaves have small holes in them and have noticed small fungus gnats flying around the plant which has spread to my other plants - DON'T BUY!

A lot shorter than advertised

I was disappointed with the plant as it was a lot shorter than it should have been (50cm instead of 70cm) meaning that the braiding didn't look like braiding. I had bought it going on the reviews of others but I should have gone out and searched for one in a garden centre. This was a gift so was time sensitive. Really disappointed.
