Brand new and just what you want to store your bud. Lot less work than burping a lot of jars.
The lid was stiff at first to get on and off, this got much easier as I used it. Much less work than opening a lot of jars to burp. Also liked the price and value of my purchase.

SUPER AIR-TIGHT closure. Food grade. Great for emergency food preppers.
Safe plastic for foods. Strong carrying handle, and a serious lid system. Took me a while using my hands to close it--recommend a rubber mallet. I was able to get 9 days of foil prepped food packets, a large first aid kit, a container of matches, a water purifier, and still had room left over.

sturdy food grade buckets
really good buckets for long term food storage. The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is that the lids are hard to seal, I need to have my husband or sons seal for me, otherwise great.
