I use it to put under foreman grill so i can move easily on work counter, then push under cupboards when not in use.

I bought two of these for both the kitchen and the bedroom as I put a kettle upstairs for morning coffee as was cheaper than a teasmade/coffee machine very pleased with both the quality and price of these trays.They are made from plastic and feel better than the laminted type you see in cafes. Nice pale grey shade.
