It was my dream Grill, I have Tefal as well back home, but this is definitely better, quality and looks more professional!

The Delonghi Multigrill 1020D is a very good product. Beautifully designed by Delonghi. Love the brushed metal and stainless steel look. Looks good in the kitchen.The Blue digital display helps you with cooking. The plates are easily detachable and easy to clean. Food cooked is healthy eating and evenly cooked. I found this product difficult to purchase in the UK, even on Delonghi UK website does not adevertise it. Bought it from Amazon which was delivered from Germany with a U.K. Adapter fitted without purchasing this as an extra.

This is one of the more expensive alternatives but what you get is a very well made and versatile appliance, highly recommended.

Had to return as no UK plug. Was sent an adaptor but it was the wrong adaptor. Had to return to Germany at my own expense.

Well what can I say a versatile multi functional product what more could you want???Smart in appearance it looks good on the worktop. It is quiet big so make sure u have space as I wouldn’t want to get this grill in and out personally as it’s not light.Another reviewer said the plates weren’t heating evenly and I have to say the only time I noticed uneven cooking was when I didn’t wait for it to heat up or I placed food of different thickness under it. Other than that I haven’t noticed any uneven cooking I mean it gets very hot and if u r not careful u will burn ur food.I have used mainly the griddle. I’ve been making so many toastier and paninis it. I cook breakfast on it and at the same time I toast the bread depending on what I fancy. Unlike other grills I have owned this appliance toasts bread so so quick I could literally leave it 3 minutes and it would be done.The eggs don’t stick and cook perfectly they are life cafe restaurant. I put no oil on the griddle at all and they come away so easy.I used the waffle plates and we had yummy waffles in 5 minutes enough for 4 people and subsequent batches weren’t much fuss to make.Even if you put too much batter the way the plate is designed it doesn’t fall on the sides and u can still eat it yum yum 😋I have also used to melt cheese on toasts as it has a floating hinge.I have used the grill plates very little so I will update once I have tested them more.Each plate has their own heating element and you can select at which temperature you want to use them individually. Each plate beeps when it’s ready and it will show in the digital display.The sear option will flash until it’s ready and can only be used once in the space of 30 minutes.The grill also has a timer which will switch off the machine once it’s done counting down.Cleaning the plates is super easy as they are removable.Although it says you can put them in the dishwasher I would discourage you to do it as it will ruin the non stick coating eventually. They are not hard to clean.What can I say I love this gadget. Look for the best price it’s my advice.

I purchased this product under the impression that I could purchase the accessory plates and they are not on sale in teh UK nor do they have any intention of selling them.This product comes with a plate of each type which is not at all practical.
