Impressive suction, very pleased despite the noise.
I purchased this to dry out the flooded basement of the house. Has been sucking air for a week now, dried out the basement and the affected floors. Very strong suction, so much so that to light my wood fire in house I have to turn it off, as it sucks air and smoke from the chimney into the house despite two open large windows. Very impressed with the air flow! The price to pay is the noise! Noisy despite being in a room with door closed, but I think the noise is inevitable as it is more the noise from very high airflow rather than the motor. Very happy with the purchase as it did the job very well. I’ll install it in my workshop/garage when finished with the basement.

Great solution to reduce dust from renovation work in the house.
What can I say but this fan is awesome with just a few little niggles. I am currently in the middle of doing a full house renovation of my house and I needed something to help with the dust that was caused from chipping away the black mortar and plaster of the walls. I bought this fan 10" version and setup the ducting and ran it outside so the dust would be extracted out of the room and what can I say it greatly reduced the dust and I mean almost all. Where there was originally a black dusty cloud in the room after working and sweeping up with the fan there was nothing. I would highly recommend this fan if you want to renovate a house and want to keep the dust to a minimum.Now the only issue I have with this fan is the ducting itself. Where you fit and then adjust the strap to secure the ducting to the fan it does not create a seal between the fan body and ducting itself and thus results in leakage of dust that was getting extracted from the room in question where there's also very little room for any adjustments to be made as the handle on the fan is off centre and creates a problem.That said I would still recommend this product if your in the need to reduce dust to a minimum then this is for you.

This is a very well made product, sturdy and durable.The ducting will fit on either end of the appliance.On/off switch is positioned under the handle.Very happy with this purchase.
