I received this custard powder on January 31, 2013 and the code date was for the end of February 2013. I bought this to make my sister's favorite desert for her birthday on February 25th. It will be nearly out of code by the time that I get to use it! It was also outrageously expensive for what it is. One little packet! I ordered packets because I thought that a whole tin of custard powder would get stale before I would use it in more than once. (All right, I should have read more carefully and seen that it was only one packet, rather than a box of packets.) Really, for the price I paid, it should have at least been fresh. No packing slip was included in the box, so returning it is going to be a hastle.
