WEN 56455i Super Quiet 4500-Watt RV-Ready Portable Inverter Generator with Fuel Shut-Off and Electric Start Black

We've used this generator for a total of five nights so far, I also start it and let it run for about an hour once per month. It has performed flawlessly. We used it to power our small travel trailer while we slept at interstate rest stops during a three day trip across the country. The unit was quiet, and only burned about 2/3's of a tank of gas (a tank holds about two gallons I believe). It had no trouble powering the microwave or our TV, in addition to my wife's CPAP machine. If you are not going to be using it to capacity (in the middle of the night with no AC or electric heat), you can run it in ECO mode which makes it twice as quiet and I would imagine make the fuel last longer.I also ran the generator during a power outage one night here at our campsite. It ran consistently through a very heavy thunderstorm, through rain and wind it just kept purring along. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Good price. Runs with no load a little quieter than my 2200 watt portable. It is big and heavy.

It is difficult to give a review after such a short period of use. I decided to use this for a couple years then come back and give a fair and honest review. I have owned many generators and this may be the best. First, I am extremely impressed at how quiet it is . I have used it to power our 34' travel trailer and it does it without any issues. I can fill the gas and it will stay running through the entire night without any refill. It is light enough for me to handle to put on the back of the truck for transport. The electric start is a fantastic feature and never fails on first try. Highly recommend!!

Purchased as a jobsite generator. The eco mode works very well to keep decibels down and conserve fuel. I have been getting 12 hours plus per tank. In real world use I go 2-3 days between filling the tank as you shut it down when you don't need power. Easily powers an air compressor and jobsite saws.*** update*** The battery died after about 2-3 weeks. I have been unable to find a replacement battery. Tried WEN's website and it has been "sold out" for quite a while. No huge deal as the recoil start is easy to use and works but why spend the money on electric start in the first place?

Had to use this today. First power failure since we bought it. It works well and did exactly with its supposed to, also pretty quiet. The preparation however was incredibly bad. It’s almost impossible to put in oil. You’re adding oil to a flexible tube rather than a normal filter point, you have to keep it elevated or it pours out again and the actual hole in the tube is way too small for any funnel I was able to find. End result is it takes much longer than it should and there’s plenty of unavoidable spillage. Secondly, connecting the battery. This is easy enough to do but there’s no way of getting the cover back on afterwards, it simply doesn’t fit once the wires are connected. I ended up with the cover sort of back on but bowed. It gets four stars for working well once it’s set up. Loses a start for the ridiculous prep.

I cannot believe how quiet this generator is. Tons of power and features. Goes soooooo long on a tank of gas even on full blast. I’m that guy that’s left old gas in generators before and I love the option that it burns the remaining fuel before shutting off. You can skip it also. Handle is great for pulling and surprisingly strong. Powered large air compressor, electric saws and a heater. I have no doubt it will power freezers/fridge etc when power goes out. I’ve had several high end expensive generators over the years, this one beats them all and the price was to good to pass up. Great job WEN

This things runs great and is very quiet. It’s perfect for camping. I can run my refrigerator, a/c and microwave in my camper all at the same time. I own several WEN products and so far none have disappointed.

We got this generator to use with our camper. We wanted something that was quiet and easy to use and boy did we get that with this generator. The campsite are sometimes close together and we didn’t want to have the neighbors hear our generator and this one is very quiet. Push button start makes it easy to use, no need to pull start. Love it…
