Han WagHanwag Ancash II GTX Boots (10)

I bought the Ancash II for backpacking in rocky areas, snowy hikes, and fall hunting. I've had these for three months, a handful of hikes in snow and mud, and an afternoon building an igloo with the kids. The sole is nice and stiff with some give at the ball of your foot. The ankle has a lot of support. The Vibram tread is grippy and sheds mud well. I have had similar priced boots for the last 15 years but these are my new go-tos. They are a bit taller than I'm used to however, I do not really notice anymore. They fit my wider feet well and my heel does not slip. The quality is fantastic and I think they look better than a lot of the competitors. Don't forget to treat your leather!
