Are you going to win sound competitions with these speakers? Probably not. Are they going to make your ears Bleed? Doubtful. Are they going to fit in your factory mounting spaces with no modifications or spacers? Maybe. (Depends on vehicle model). Are you gonna smile when they sound pretty decent and you only paid a fraction of the cost compared to high end speakers? Absolutely! For the price, these speakers work great in my opinion. I am NOT an audiophile nor am I an expert in sound quality.

Just replaced two of four factory speakers with these, and can't wait to do the other two! They sound amazing, especially for the price. Pretty good bass considering they aren't amplified or anything, and I can hear some sounds that cannot be heard by lesser speakers. Clear sound and with the wattage they have I hope not to have to worry about blowing them. The only drawback is that they were supposed to fit my truck (1997 Nissan extended cab) and they really don't without a great deal of effort. So don't trust that you will just be able to put them right in your vehicle, just because Amazon says they will fit. Since this is not a problem with the actual speakers, I am not deducting any stars for that though. **UPDATE**** I really can't install these in place of the stock back speakers. They stick out too far and would not only be aesthetically unappealing but would prevent me from being able to open the jump seats. I could install them elsewhere in the truck with some more effort but I don't want to do that. I prefer to just use something that at least kind of fits. I am going to return the 2nd pair and have ordered some that have less power but that hopefully will fit better.

Bought for my 1990 miata and for the most part they worked out. The sound is so much better than before. I do have a boss HU paired with this and even with the top down and just these two speakers going I can still hear my music. For such small speakers they do pack a little but of a bump. No amp connect so assuming that would only improve them. The only down side is that they don't 100% for my miata door speakers. Amazon said they do but some minor alterations had to be made but nothing crazy. Just drill a couple new holes to mount and I had to cut the old door covers some because the tweeters stuck out a bit too much to allow me to properly secure the cover back on and that's the only reason I knocked one star off. Other than that the quality seems great for the price! Definitely recommend

This company never lets me down, I've been purchasing their products for several years. I installed these in an older RV with 6" speakers. I was able to slightly modify the opening and it took the 6.5" BOSS speakers. What a difference! Super happy with these, much better sound quality than another pair I purchased (and returned) that had what I thought was a better brand name. Buy these, you won't be disappointed!

I just received my speakers today. I installed then. Easy install. I don't have an amp, but these speakers sound great. They have great bass also. They vibrate my truck like a massage chair. I wanted speakers that were good speakers with bass , but not too much where someone would break in my vehicle for then. I would definately buy again. Great price also. I replaced my factory speakers with these and i wish i did it sooner. They are loud also. Good equal sound out of the speakers. I wasnt sure about these speakers, but I'm glad i took a chance on these. I had to modify the back 2 speaker openings to install these, but it is nothing some metal cutters can't fix. Lol. I have a chevy colorado crew cab. Buy these. Great buy! Great price! Great sound!

I replaced my blown front speakers in my 2000 Subaru Forester and these have performed great! I'm not highly educated on audio equipment so I can't honestly say how the sound quality compares to other brands but they have been great and I really crank up the volume in my car. At the price, ease of connectivity and the fact that they haven't blown in the few months I've used them, I am very happy with this purchase! Note: Amazon told me these were a fit for my car but they were slightly larger than the speakers I replaced them with. It hasn't been an issue and I still was able to snap the speaker covers back on just fine. Just a heads up if you own a 2000 Subaru Forester.

I installed one of these in my 99 Toyota 4 Runner which has a paper cone woofer and door column tweeter for the stock speakers in the front. I had this in the driver's side door and the stock setup in the passenger side door. Both were hooked up to a JVC amp outputting a true 50 watts RMS to each channel. After carefully listening to each speaker through multiple frequency ranges (cutting out the highs, cutting out the lows) I determined that the stock speakers had a clearer sound across the full listening spectrum. That said, for the price this is still a good speaker if your stock setup sucks (which many do) or if replacing blown units. They seem well made and sound OK.

overall build quality is good. Sound is good but my pioneer s509bt stereo is not able give the power they need to get good bass. Using a amplifier is giving good and punchy bass. Mounting in door will give you good bass but bass is more after putting them in ported box. These speakers have aluminium voice coil will is good thing if you want to play loud for longer time.
