You should be able to determine which pad would fit the jack by just comparing the pad and jack platform from pictures. The pad does have a little give, which should cushion the pinch welds. Would just give the pad a once-over after every use, to make sure its not getting cut through

More depends on the jack than the vehicle. Does the touareg have re-inforced pinch welds or..?
