Substandard Paint
I have a concrete pool that usually needs to be painted every 3 to 5 years. I researched online where to purchase good rubber-based paint for a concrete pool. I found the Rubberiz It website, and their reviews were stellar. Now I see that the product can't be reviewed on their website, so they cherry-pick reviews and only display the good ones. I followed the directions to the letter, and the paint bubbled up within a month. After 3 months, it has bubbled up and peeled off in countless places down to the base concrete of the pool. I contacted their customer service, and they gave me a questionnaire to fill out. They decided that it was a user error and told me I didn't follow the directions. It's ridiculous that these places always blame the consumer and don't stand behind their product even when it fails. Don't buy this paint for anything. I don't recommend it. I spent 800.00 on their paint, and now I have to drain my pool to have all the paint power washed off and painted again. This time, I'll return to the paint I used last time, which didn't have one bubble in five years.

Buyer Beware - Adhesion Issues, Wasted Time, and Unnecessary Extra Work
We bought this product for a koi pond build.- Time was critical in order to move our fish from our old house to our new one. The product would not stick/adhere to our concrete slab (slab was poured 40 days prior).- I tried numerous times to contact support and never could speak with them to see if they had primer we could use or other suggestions. Never got to speak with support (kept getting voicemail). Support did call me twice, but I missed the calls by only a couple of minutes due to bad reception. After calling them back immediately, I got their voicemail again and again. After speaking with receptionist, I discovered that they only had two people that could help with technical support, and they were both busy.- I did get an email back from tech telling me that I need to peel off and fully remove the product so that I could apply acetone. After peeling off the big pieces and scrapping the small pieces with a putty knife, I applied the acetone and let it dry. A day later I reapplied their product. Waited 24hrs and performed another adhesion test (using duct tape and quickly removing it from the re-applied product). It didn't work.- Ultimately, we used another koi pond rubber coating (Hecht) and they offered a primer, which ensured adhesion. It worked like a charm. And Hecht's owner spoke with me and ensured me that his product would work and it DID :-) !- Meanwhile Rubberize it sent me a 17 line item questionary on the weather conditions, relative humidity, slab age questions, etc. It would have been nice to know that their product required such review prior to buying their product and wasting my time.- They refused to refund us the money we wasted and even wanted us to pay to send them samples so that they could send it out for testing. Ridiculous.

LOVE IT!!!
This is the new product from Rubberizeit and it is EVEN BETTER than their universal. Still non-toxic and easy to apply, but this is cheaper (more coverage per sf) and comes in black or white (which you can tint)! Same great service too. I called and got a very helpful person (Ray, I think) that helped me calculate how much I needed and the best way to apply to my horse obstacles project to provide sealing to the wood and traction. Because it is thicker, you can create a smooth finish or "ridges" in it that allow for non-slip. Also added some sand to rough it up. I ordered more than I needed because I knew I'd find another use if had some left over. Coated an old metal water trough that one of the horses kicked and then it leaked at the seam :( - it sealed it nicely and I have a "new" tank! I ordered some a while back in white and tinted it to match my barn colors and painted the tops of the fence posts in my arena where the wood started to rot. I can think of a ton more uses. I will always have some on hand to coat or repair. Thanks for providing a great product with great service!

Poor adhesion
We prepared the surface exactly as directed and used the product as directed. It did not adhere. It came off in big chunks. Joe with the company ghost you too. No return policy since I had it tinted. Don’t waste your money

Do not use!
This product does not work. It does not stick to concrete or metal. I been painting for 20 years and can tell you save time and money and look elsewhere. There is a reason the contact information is hard to find. And then trying to get someone to answer is like trying to buy ocean front property in Oklahoma. Do more research and stay away
