Personally...I found it unpleasantly bitter
I don't think this brand tastes like the restaurant tea. I found it unpleasantly bitter (not the good kind of bitter) Perhaps I got an off batch. I brewed different times 1 min, 2 min, 3 min. I left it in for 5min. I tried different water temperatures. I've had it black and with some sugar. Still there was a lingering back note of an off-bitter that lingers. I have drunk many teas and coffee black and I like bitter tastes, so it is not a matter of being sensitive to bitter. The box came undamaged and the expiration is not past due. Looking at the reviews some people might like it which is why I gave this 3 stars rather than 2. It very well could have been just a bad batch.

Doesn’t taste like Chinese restaurant tea
I was nervous to try a new tea brand besides Lipton and rightfully so. This is called Chinese restaurant tea so I assumed it taste like the Chinese tea I usually get when I go to Chinese restaurants and it has this really awesome flavor but when I made this, it just taste like plant leaves 😭 it has a distinct taste for sure but I wouldn’t call this Chinese restaurant tea at all. Sadly, I don’t like it.
