We purchased this for our newborn to use in our double buggy and it's been brilliant. Installation was straightforward and hassle-free - no complicated instructions or wrestling with attachments. One of the best features is how easy it is to remove when needed. The portability is excellent - we can quickly take it in and out depending on whether we need the carrycot or footmuff function, which is really handy for different outings. The universal fit worked perfectly with our pushchair, and the quality feels solid. This is an amazing piece of kit and a must have! Sturdy, but lightweight, warm and sizeable, it was perfect for easily converting an ordinary double buggy into a much needed pram for newborn. Also used as a sleeping crib whilst at grandma’s for a few hours. Love the fact that it can be converted to a foot mud when little one is older too! A great buy!

I think that this is a bit expensive for what this. However, it does feel good quality, we got it to use with a Hauk runner pushchair so that it could be used for a newborn when we are out walking the dog. Baby is very comfy in this and usually falls asleep in it quickly. Our other pushchair is crap at any kind of offroading so can't use it to walk the dog hence this was a necessary purchase We have only used it as a Carry cot so far not a foot muffin but we are happy with it for our needs

Genius! I don't know why I've ever had a pram now.. even fits quite narrow buggies. Super easy to install and makes a good quality and comfy impression! The value for money is good because there are no comparable alternatives.

I bought this to go into a my Graco Mirage travel system that didn't come with one. In principal it is a good idea and it fits in the pushchair well and can be secured on both sides using the clips, it is also well padded and feels well made. The carrycot arrived quickly and was well packaged. The down side for me was that when the carrycot was put into the pushchair the harness straps that secures the baby in could not be threaded through the slots in the base due to the thin piece of wood inside the base which keeps things sturdy. I still wanted to use it so with the help of a very kind young man from B&Q who was able to use his initiative some slots were added to the wood. Unfortunately because the slots in the carrycot didn't match the placement of the pushchair straps I had to have additional slots put into the wood and then make some in the carrycot material. It was all quite a FAFF but my baby Son is now able to use it safely and comfortably. My suggestion to the manufacturers would be to at least put the slots in the wood and possibly add more slots which could help with comparability with different makes of pushchair.

We have a pram that doesn't come with a newborn insert and this cocoon was a perfect solution. Very well made, portable, easy to clean and can be used as a footmuff when the baby is older

Bought for Hauck double pram, my son is just a few weeks old so needed carrycot. This works really well. It is big enough for him and will still be able to use in a couple of months. It is lightweight and the base is really sturdy. I do have problems clipping and unclipping from the pram as it’s a bit fiddly and you can’t see the clips once it is attached so you just have to feel. I would have preferred for it to be facing the other way but our pram has a flap on the hood so I can see his head when pushing if needed so it actually works really well for us. I like that it can be converted to a foot muff after you don’t need the carry cot as this will only be about 4 months. It’s very handy and does exactly what we need it to do.
