This is a great box very classy and good quality build!

There are lots of cheap watch cases out there. I've been gifted a number of these over the years and have always wanted something a little better. My search lead me to Etsy where there were many handmade options over $200. My collection isn't at the point where I think I need a box that nice to hold it, but I did want something in between the $40 pleather box and the $200+ handmade one. This box fills that niche nicely. The acacia wood is well-finished - all surfaces are smooth and it smells of wood oil. The minimal hardware is a clear step above the flimsy clasps you usually see. It shuts with a clean click and has a satisfying weight to it. I believe the reason they can keep the price down is that it is an uncomplicated design - there isn't any fussy joinery, nor is there glass to worry about. They could produce the pieces quickly in assembly line fashion using sleds or CNC, then glue them together with minimal hand finishing. This is also produced in China where labor is much cheaper.

I am extremely pleased with this product. It is beautiful and well-made. So many watch boxes have glass tops. Why? This box with its solid wooden lid looks far more classy and elegant. My only minor complaint, which is easily solved by a trip to the craft shop or hardware store, is that I wish it came with felt pads on the base of the box since you are obviously going place on a nice piece of furniture.

I was completely impressed when I received this item. I bought the wooden one with a plain top. First of all it comes in a beautiful box, inside the shipping box. Then you open that box and wooden box is in a beautiful velvet bag. The packaging alone makes this look like it's worth more than the $70 price point. The inside is velvet but not feminine, has enough space for normal mens items, a few watches and bracelets plus more. The box is well made as in old furniture not like the stuff they sell now. And looks absolutely stunning and not like a watch box. I HIGHLY recommend this product. This will definitely be a hit and think you spent more than you did.

This is a very nice watch box. Good quality wood. I like that it has a solid top. They are not easy to find. I don’t like the glass top ones. As much as I love my watches, I don’t want to constantly look at them! What I don’t like about box is the pillows. They are hard and don’t fit compartments at all . When you put your watch around it just kind of rolls around. Not nice and snug like they should be when you have soft pillows that actually fit compartment. I ended up keeping box because I had nice pillows from my previous box. Had I not had those pillows I certainly would have sent it back
