No, absolutely not, these kitchen tongs will not work with salad OR pasta!

Are the tongs dishwasher safe?

No !! the dishwasher detergent will eat up the pop rivet and make the tongs useless

Are the tongs dishwasher safe?

Yes. And they are wonderful, quality tongs. Hubby uses almost daily for cooking in our 8 qt air fryer. Whether it is wings, fries, shrimp, hot dogs, steak, chicken breasts, bratwursts, etc, these tongs pick up no issue.

Can you use these in very hot oil?

Heat-resistant up 500°F of the silicone head part, but so as to avoid accidents that it is forbidden to soak in oil pan or keep the whole tong in high temperature environment for a long time.
