Grip Puppy Ultimate Comfort Grips for Motorcycles/Scooters etc

I have had several sets of these on several bikes. Just sold my bike of 3 years. The very first thing I noticed on the new one was the “ skinny” standard grips. I literally ordered a pair as soon as I got home. Delivered the next day to my works. Fitted when I got home. I literally would not be without these now !! Photos show before & after fitting them.

I've not ridden the bike yet since fitting, but they were a lot easier to fit than I expected, just a bit of soapy water and they slide on easier.

Tried these to try stopping cramps in hand, but it worse.so not for me

Purchased a set of these for my Honda CBF1000 which has small diameter grips, and suffers from a small amount of high-frequency vibration through the bars. After speaking to my local bike dealer, I mixed a DILUTE solution of soapy water in a bowl and soaked them before fitting (which was then relatively easy). Do NOT use a strong solution -- as another reviewer has commented, this will never dry out properly. Instead, I found the trick is to alternately push and pull a little at a time until they are almost in place. (If for any reason this doesn't work, don't try brute force -- just buy some grip glue!) I then used a sharp craft knife to trim them around switches, pushing the last bit up around these, afterwards removed the surplus from the bar ends. Finally, I switched on the heated grips (which work fine) to dry out the water -- and, hey presto, no movement at all!! One thing: these over-grips do increase the grip diameter markedly; no bad thing on many bikes, but, even with larger hands, you may well find you need to adjust the front brake lever position to compensate (no problem on the CBF). But I'm very pleased with the results: the nasty tingle that was evident at motorway speeds has been almost eliminated.

I bought these on a recommendation to make my long rides a tad more comfortable, and they do work, i don't get as much tingling, deadening or aching in my fingers as i did before, so if i get another bike this will be one of my first purchases, as i wouldn't be without now, and they only take a minute to fit, and stay in place well. some say you can swap them onto another bike if needed, but for the price i wouldn't bother.

I have a sports bike and was getting wrist ache after a short ride. These helped me ride for longer as I didn't feel as much vibration through the hand grips. They weren't that hard to put on using a little fairy liquid only at one end and grip tight , twist and push on to bars. They did spin as I think I used too much fairy liquid so I half pulled them off and dried as much as possible and pushed them back on which took a few attempts to dry until the grips stopped slipping and spinning. They are still on today after a good year so I'm pleased how long they have lasted after some good summer riding

easy install, mine had to be trimmed by a 1/4 inch but no problem, perfect fit great price.

Grips arrived but there are no instructions as to how to install them on the bike. The package states to scan the QR Code to take you to an installation video on their website, I did this on my mobile. This just takes you to their product home page and even going to the menu there was no obvious install video. I their their Chat Feature but this went unanswered for ages and it stated if you left the chat they would Email - that didn't happen either. So, I am giving 3 Stars on the basis on none existent customer service and misleading package information. I went to their Website directly and there is a video to a chap called the Missenden Flyer who demonstrated how to install - but this video, whilst useful, was just so long drawn out for what should be a simple 2 minute instruction. Anyway, as to the product I purchased these as now in my early 70's Mother Nature has caught up with me and having some arthritis in my fingers I am starting to struggle to grip throttle on my R1250RS. No problem in winter gloves but as soon as I move to my summer gloves the throttle seems to narrow to continue to grip for any length of time, longer rides becoming painful. I can work round this by use of the cruise control but that fine until I hit the twisty's. And with a long tour coming up I was looking for something to help and make my ride more comfortable. So vibration isn't a problem on my bike but the dimension if the grips is (for me). I am hoping these will do, they certainly add more girth to the grips and seem to make gripping the bars more comfortable. I will update this review when I have used them in earnest. As to fitting them. That's not to difficult and here is how I did it on my R1250RS 1: Removed Bar Ends 2: Cut Grip Puppy neatly to size 3: Soaked Grip Puppy in WARM soapy water (using washing up liquid) 4: Applied soapy water to the bikes grip as well as Grip Puppy 5: Started to feed Grip Puppy into bar grips - They soon get a bit stuck so by using the flat palm of my hand I tapped on the end of the Grippy Puppy (forcing some air in) as well as using the other hand to feed the Grip Puppy onto the bar. I found that by holding the Grip Puppy in a towel whilst feeding this made the job easier. 6: Refit bar ends and torque to correct setting, All in all to do both sides it took me about 10 minutes and wasn't that difficult. Now I just need to road test and see if they help with my comfort.

Es una buena opcion si tienes los puños gastados, se coloca facilmente con agua jabonosa, tendras que costar 1cm aprox con un cutter, tomatelo con calma para hacerlo bien de medida y que quede recto, tambien se puede hacer con unas tijeras de cocina. El resultado final es stisfactorio, yo de guantes suelo utilizar talla XL, el puño que mas grueso, no mucho pero se nota, si usas una talla M de guante, yo no lo recomendaria
