Princess and Pop Star is yet another great Barbie movie. We have all the Barbie movies, and despite my children getting older (11 and 7) they both still enjoy every movie. I am delighted that they like these movies, as they are always good for teaching morals and values in a non preachy fashion. The characters are always happy and well behaved, without the movie being boring. There are always catchy songs and happy endings. What more could you ask for? Better than all the Disney TV series & movies they all also like, as there is no pressure within these Barbie movies to grow up. They are fantasy and great in allowing kids to stay kids a little longer, and to use their imagination to believe and dream.

This DVD is one of my daughters favourites, it is a typically girlie romp involving Barbie, princesses, popstars and other sugary-sweet themes. The story is not original but it re-done Barbie-style and that is the appeal. It pleases and entertains my daughter which is the outcome I had bought it for so I am happy with my purchase.

Loving the songs in this one. It's really funny too. My daughters (age 7 & 2) love watching Barbie movies & singing along to the songs. They can watch these over and over again & never get bored. They have virtually the entire Barbie dvd collection now; brilliant for a rainy/cold day, or when they need to sit and be calm (so I can get on with housework etc. ... naughty mummy using tv to "watch" the kids :) !!) The stories always have a respectful tone, & well-mannered underlying moral / teachings so that's an added bonus - I buy dvds to entertain my kids ... not teach them, so when they do I see it as a responsibly made product (it's my job to raise my girls the right way after all). All in all - always an excellent purchase!

The graphic detail has obviously had a lot of time, effort and expense put into it, but it's a shame the story was so weak.is there any chance that Barbie could be allowed to be human and meek occasionally in this new 'she-male' state that's now become the norm? Shame all this wonderful computer power can't be used on something that has a more romantic, gentle style, with morals.

I must confess I was super excited about this DVD. Every previous Barbie Musical has been top notch and Barbie Princess and the Pauper just happens to be my absolute favourite! So I'm really pleased to report that this modern remake turned out to be everything I was hoping for. All new story, plenty of girly pop songs, (watch out for a new version of a classic from the original) loads of beautiful outfits and all round Barbie cuteness. EDIT: Having seen this about 4 times now (and loving every minute) it's rapidly becoming my number one Barbie DVD! I just love it so much!!!

Ordered as gift for 5 year old. Watched the film together and I have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed it. Young girls dreaming of being a pop star or princess will certainly enjoy the film. Enjoyed this Barbie film more than others we had watched and it kept my Daughter's attention throughout. Good value for money.

My son rented the movie from the library and he love the movie. So I decided to buy the movie for him so we don't have to keep on renting it from the library. It was prime and arrived fast. We went down stairs to check our mail box and he was surprised I purchased it for him

Barbi non delude mai! Arrivato nei tempi previsti , buona la confezione munita anche di pellicola. Piacevolissimo la visione ,la bimba è rimasta molto contenta...

Purchased the DVD to put in my 5 year old granddaughter`s Easter basket. She has graduated from Dora and loves anything Barbie. She loves singing and dancing, so, the perfect movie.
