Aquage Defining Curl Gel & Curly Hair Enhancer, 6 oz

So happy to find my Aquage hair gel here. My salon hasn’t carried it for years. I’ve tried many different brands but this is so lightweight with a strong hold, I have missed it so much. Plan on buying more as this tube only filled my pump bottle a 1/4. I use it on wet hair prior to blow dry but even on areas of dry hair. It’s a great “liquid” gel.

Great product, use it just a drop, rub it between your hand palms and put on the ends of your hair, or curls, not the scalp. Holds curls very well.

I have used this product for several years and love it! I have wavy hair so this gel keeps the frizzy hair in control. I also love the fact I can wet my hair anytime I want and it is back to the original look. I also use the Aquage Creme to add more moisture when needed.

Gives me curls that hold without being stiff.

Tried this for the first time and am satisfied. It has a pleasant aroma and is easy to work with. Accentuates my waves and curls unlike the other product I used to use. It doesn't weigh my hair down. Will get it again.

There was a hair gel that I used years ago, and when they went out of business, I could never find something I liked as well...until now. Z QA My hair has changed as I've gotten older, especially thinning. I still color it and have it relaxed every 12 weeks or so. This gel does the trick in controlling what little hair I have left.

This is a nice enough gel, but I would not consider it a valid substitute for the apparently discontinued Illuminating Gel that Aquage had. The texture on this one is "slicker", not as "grippy" (hopefully gel users understand what I mean here) and there is no illumnation. Previously, my hair would sparkle, not now. This gel does have a nice holding power and seems to wash out easily. I did find the Illuminating Gelade on ebay for $122.00.
