I always used to say Chromebooks are terrible and I'd never have one. The company I currently work for uses Chromebooks almost exclusively so I decided to get one to become familiar with them. After changing it to the beta release channel and installing the Debian 11 upgrade it has changed my mind and become a welcome addition to my everyday gadgets. The screen is decent, it has great battery life, and the speakers are great. It sounds better than my $1200 gaming laptop. For productivity tasks and gaming I still use the gaming laptop but for everything else I've found myself grabbing the Chromebook instead.

The device I've got is manufactured in 2021 May.According to the Settings app the Auto Update Expiration (AUE) date is 2024 June.Performance is on par with the price, so don't expect it to be a fairly fast device, but for general browsing, having a few tabs open, it is good enough.I am surprised by the keyboard, which is, frankly, quite good (although there is no keyboard backlight).I am satisfied with the purchase.

Happy so far - but this is a low-spec chromebook with a low-res screen, and warnings from other reviewers to be very gentle with it. I parted with little more than a hundred greenbacks, which I found entirely fair. It's now going for much higher than that, which is a rip-off for this basic machine. We'll see how long this review is embraced, by way of a social experiment!

This laptop works perfectly for my kid to use at school. Since most things are moving to digital these days, this was a cheaper alternative to a high end laptop that will for sure be put through the ringer throughout the year in my Kid’s backpack.

After one year it stop working, the cpu always run at 105 celcius and slow down to a crawl. When it was working, it was nice, with a large screen.

I ordered this Chrome Book for my granddaughters for school. It came with a 12 month warranty from Asus. The unit failed after just a few uses. Even though it supposedly was under warranty, Asus rejected the warranty as the seller had it in their warehouse for over a year. The warranty plainly states that the warranty is 12 months for the final user which was us. There is almost 2 months of warranty left and Asus, Amazon and the secondary seller have all said that that it is the manufacturer's problem. Asus will not cover it and says they are sorry... I will never own another Asus product after this experience.

Never was a big fan of "netbooks," but when all computer companies are forcing you onto Internet-based platforms, I figured I'd try a minimalist Chrome Book. Haven't used it a lot yet, but like it. Good quality overall. Really easier to deal with than expected. I do wish there was a lighted keyboard, but no biggie.

I love it, /his is a nice chromebook , works great and the speakers are under the screen instead of the backside. Very clear sound.

Produto apresentou defeito com 10 meses de uso... A Amazon e Asus Brasil não prestam assistência ao produto e nem para o consumidor. Não indico o produto e não aconselho a Amazon tb.. Não estão prestando o devido suporte.
