Easy to use, clean and overall perfect

I've only used this brush once so far, but I love it! My dog is mostly American Staffordshire, so she has a short coat that requires little brushing. Previously, I just had a dinky little brush with squishy rubber bristles that didn't do much, and I never needed it to until recently. At my dog's last grooming, they used a de-shedder, and I think she had a bad reaction to it because she has had crazy dandruff and dry scabs on her skin ever since. After reading good reviews, I purchased this brush and used it today.First of all, my dog loved it! She's always been indifferent to brushing in the past, but today she had the spazzy leg going while I was brushing her, and she rolled around happily on her back when I was done. Also, the brush removed a ton of dry skin and fur and dander and whatever. And it cleaned off in a snap. I keep checking my dog, and her coat continues to look better than it has in a week or so. So at least for short-haired dogs, I can say this brush is a winner.

I like this pet brush mainly for how retracts and allows easy removal of pet hairs, so easy to clean it, plus it is easy to use.I'd give it 5 stars just for that feature; however, it is bigger than I expected, big enough to use on a great big dog which is fine if you have such a pet, but it is a bit too large for my comfort on my sweet 12 lb cat. I just have to be careful and not brush too hard or let the brush weigh on her. It would be helpful if this product was labeled for use on large cats and big dogs. A smaller version of this brush would be ideal for me and my sweet kitty. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend it, easy to use and clean. Not sure my cat agrees as she doesn't like being brushed but when I read about the brush that it is good for their circulation and helps their grooming efforts, I decided my cat would benefit. She has lost hair on the back end due to food rash. The hair is now coming back in so feel that the brushing might help. I'll let you know in a few months if it does indeed help her fur.

The media could not be loaded.  So I was hesitant to get this brush but I’m glad I did! It works very well on my dog and cat! I couldn’t believe how much hair I got off of them! My dog hates being brushed but she actually didn’t mind it with this brush. And my cat she LOVED being brushed! It was soooo easy to clean it too like the hair comes right off! Definitely recommend for people who want a brush to get the extra shedding hair off there pet! Also it makes them softer and look great!

My dog sheds furiously! I have tried so many hair removable tools! This one is without a doubt the best! It is sturdy, easy to hold and the push button is marvelous! You don't have to stop every minute and spend 5 getting all the hair out of the bristles. Just push the button and all the hair instantly comes off the bristles. Wonderful!!

It definitely works to pull the loose undercoat hair. And the button is easy to press to retract the bristles and capture the fur wad. My 25lb dog is super sensitive along his back and yelped at the wire teeth scraping his skin. I thought the rounded tips would be kind but he didn’t think so.Also because the bristles are angled the brush works best being pulled. Sometimes it’s hard to get around the neck area. I wouldn’t recommend it for smaller shorthair dogs but I think it could be great for a medium or large dog.

I've tried this on a couple dogs and it does indeed work as advertised. Gets the fur and cleans off very easy. One of my dogs didn't mind it and the other is scared of it for some reason. However, she lets me use it on her while bathing, so long as she doesn't see it. I think she doesn't like the clicking noise it makes when you press the button. But I can verify it doesn't hurt when it is used. In fact she loves it. Like getting brushed and scratches at the same time.

We have a very small 13 year old short haired cat who loves to get brushed, especially around her face and along her neck. This brush is huge, really huge compared to her lol. I avoided her face until I was comfortable with using the brush on her and was assured it wasn't to sharp for her, about a week. Now that we have it figured out I'm still cautious around her face but she absolutely loves this brush especially down her neck. This brush is super easy to use and clean up, just push the button to retract the combs and swipe a finger across to remove the fur. I didn't pay attention to dimensions and decided we could deal with the size and chose not to return it, with that said, if you have a small pet I would look for another brush although I highly recommend this for bigger pets.J.
