Q: How many times can be used for a kettle?

Hi It all depends on what size of kettle. You only need to cover the area to be treated. So if you make a 120ml solution it will treat approximately 100 times. the dose is 1 part descaler to 12 parts water. HouseProud

Q: I have a delonghi nespresso machine and use their dlsc500 product, putting 100ml into 500ml water (1to5). is this much stronger hence it needs 1 to 6?

I believe so. I followed the instructions on the carton to dilute. Used it the same as the Delonghi descaler and it worked perfectly well.

Q: Could this be put into a toilet cistern, and would it be effective?

Hi It is designed to descale steam based appliances such as kettles, coffee machines, steam mops, steam irons, etc. and requires hot water for to work properly. So sorry I can't say if it would or it wouldn't as it requires hot water. HouseProud Team
