Arrived promptly decent product
Bought to replace lost one arrived really promptly within 3 days over the recent bank holiday, did not price in the high st as did not see the replacements when I bought the cat flap in local store.

Very Disappointing!
The key works fine if your cat opens the flap with their paw. If, like most cats they use their head, the bowed head blocks the signal from the key hanging under their chin and fails to open the door. I tried contacting Staywell for advice but was ignored!

I wish I had bought the Catflap that recognises the microchip!
We have had problems with other cats coming in our catflap and purchased an infra-red activated catflap. The cat flap works much better than the older magnetic one and is more robust (the magnetic one was susceptable to forced entry which the infrared one has not been).The issue is, the cat won't keep his collar on. Then I found out you can get one that scans for the microchip inside the cat. Wish I had known that before forking out £50 for the infrared one!

Because the cat wears it around her neck it dangles down into her water and food and it is not at all waterproof so it becomes useless very quickly .

Probleme de pile
J'ai acheté ce collier supplémentaire car j'ai 2 chats, aucun problème avec le collier fournie avec la chatiere. Problème avec celui ci, une des pile fournie avec ce collier a explosé dans le pendantif, heureusement mon chat ne l'avait pas au tour du cou vu qu'il ne fonctionnait pas!!! Peut être revoir la qualité des piles ??? Du coup j'ai du racheter un nouveau collier car l'explosion de la pile à abîmer la puce. Par précaution j'ai changé les piles de l'autre collier!

Meine Kritik könnte aus der Kehle meiner Katze kommen ......
.... die so zierlich ist, dass der IR-Sender nicht wie ein 'Schmuckstück' wirkt sondern wie ein mittelalterliches Folterinstrument. Sie duldet es, weil es der Schlüssel zu ihren geliebten Leckerli ist. Der alte Kater (22 und entsprechend gerissen) pfeift auf die Leckerli, zum Tür öffnen hat man ja einen Sklaven (also mich). Er brauchte nur 5 Tage, um sich des lästigen Monsters unter seinem Kinn zu entledigen. Eigentlich habe ich erwartet, dass der Rasenmäher es findet, aber anscheinend hat Paul es anderweitig entsorgt. :-D

Elektronik defekt
Leider ist die Elektronik knapp 3 Monaten, trotz neuer Batterien, schon defekt. Und über 20 Euro ist ein stolzer Preis, wenn ich meinem Kater alle 2 1/2 Monate ein neues kaufen soll. Kann ich das defekte zurückschicken?
