Naturtint Permanent Hair Colour Gel 5R Fire Red, Plant Enriched, Biobased, Ammonia Free, Long Lasting Grey Coverage and Radiant Colour, Nourishment and Protection

I've used this brand before and really loved it, but in the intervening years, I've bleached my hair repeatedly. From dark brown to white blonde, to blue, to white, to red, back to white, to blue again, then blonde, then grey, then lilac....in short succession...I don't actually know how I'm not bald. My hair grows really fast, but it's so trashed it snaps off at the ends faster than it's growing out at the roots. I've spent the past 4 months debating what to do about my abused hair, and yesterday had the late night ADHD impulse to try a more natural colour, because I just cba with the bleaching (I go into anaphylaxis every time I forget to take antihistamines 😂 -which outlines exactly how reckless I get with my hair), and I want to try to get my it in better condition, and for it to grow longer...so prior to dying with naturtint we had 3 inch roots (mainly dark brown with pure white badger stripes at my temples), dark lilac permanent dye in a 2 inch band below the regrowth, and a mix of lilac and silver through the lengths, down to my shoulders...absolute filth! I was just hoping the first application would go some way to covering up the horrors, and expected I'd need another coat in a few days but it's completely evened all the different tones and colours out. I didn't use a colour stripper beforehand and it's a pretty spot on match to the colour on the packaging(dark ash blonde)...and while I'm going to have to grow out the trashed ends, because nothing on earth can save them, they are still definitely in the best condition they've been in, in a very long time. Would recommend 👌

I've been using this brand Now for years since I became allergic to ordinary hair dyes, I've got dark brown hair,grey roots, quite a bit, I find this covers very well and lasts 5 weeks as I only wash once a week and use sulphate free shampoo which makes a difference ,it doesn't irritate my scalp,leaves hair soft and shiny and no greys!!!!, Good price too, I used natural chestnut but I'm finding im older it's too dark, ends lighter and I don't want it to Look too black Now though it suited me back in the days, I still love being dark and it suits me but going shade down and will only apply to roots Now, highly recommend it, I will always use it as I don't feel nervous about taking a reaction, it's like im using a conditioning mask

I’ve been using these dyes for years bd I love the vibrant colour this one gives. I get a lot of compliments when I do my hair. I like that it fades away rather than grows out noticeably. You do have to cover your hair in the sun though as that does help to fade it too.

The application of this product was easy and it washed out well. I followed the instructions, timing the application. The smell is an earthy one compared to the overpowering chemical smell from the usual box dyes, but not unpleasant. My hair was shiny and felt stronger afterwards. The colour is rich, covered my greys and it doesn’t look dyed. My partner commented on the colour and shine of my hair. He said this is the best dye result I’ve used and I’ve used a lot of brands! For me, the colour was too dark. I chose the colour as I wanted a mid brown with neutral tone, but it came out black, very dark brown in the light. I will purchase this brand again but not this colour. I may try a lighter colour and see how that colour turns out. It didn’t irritate my scalp and is easy wipe away any product where it’s not needed.

The colour is natural and dyes well. What is disappointing is that Naturtint have reduced the volume of the dye over the last few years, so one bottle can no longer retouch my roots.

I love this hair colour and brand! Two hair stylists have remarked they love the colour too, without any prompting from me. I realise it doesn't retain the colour in the summer as much as the winter months. It turns a light blond in the summer. But I treat my hair as sun kissed! 😀 My hair looks healthy after colouring.

Great hair dye, have been using only this for years now, also during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It does not smell at all and has most infrefients natural. Never had any problrms. The only disadvantage is that it only lasts around 1 month and then i have to reapply it

Love this hair color for covering my grays and adding a brighter blond color to my naturally medium blond hair color. It is easy to apply and holds up for at least 4-6 weeks. Gentle on your hair, no harsh burning chemicals that leave your hair damaged and looking like straw!!
