The best beach towels ever! So soft and they are a great size too. They wash lovely and dry soft again. Woodland definitely recommend.

The good: These towels are exceptionally thick and soft when new. They are super absorbant and just really lovely, thick, cozy large towels. They stayed that way after washing as well, for a time.The bad: After about two years of moderate use (I have no idea how long towels usually last but I have other towels that are still nice that are MUCH older), they really started to fall apart.Every time they go through my dryer, the lint catch is beyond full, and there are huge clumps of lint floating around in with the towels, as well. And it shows in the towels, as they are quickly becoming thin and not nearly what they were just a few months ago. So I would say we got a good two years out of them, and then when they started to "age" with use, they rapidly declined, over a period of just a few weeks.The price is okay, but I would rather not be replacing my towels every two years, so I am not sure if I would recommend them. I would say they would be great for beach/swimming towels that see only occasional use, but not for regular/daily use.

My daughter just asked me which five products do I regularly use that were well worth the money. And I immediately went to these towels. I double checked and I ordered four of them in 2020 for £25. The price has changed, but I can honestly say they’ve been in use constantly, bath sheets for caravan holidays, beach towels to lie on the sand, swimming towels. They’ve been everywhere with us for years and lasted brilliantly. They arent quite as big as a massive beach towel for a lounger but honestly good enough. They’ve washed and worn brilliantly staying lovely and soft. So they are right up there daughter, in my top five best buys ever…amazon basics beach towels. Im sat with my finger over the buy it now debating buying more but honestly its been six years of constant abuse and they are still great so I’ll let you guys buy them up instead….

It makes me laugh that these are classed as 'basics'. They may be a staple of the new Amazon range, but they're anything but basic. Generously sized and plumped up wonderfully, our pair of towels survived a fortnight trip to Egypt and endured poolside and beach use without any loss of luxuriance. At most they got a rinse through - and still retained their softness and absorbency throughout. Even on return after a hot spin in the washing machine, they plumped up once again and felt soft to the touch. No loss of colour, vibrancy and despite the dryer filter being quite fluffy, there was no noticeable loss on the towels. Very absorbent, it was lovely to have these towels to lie down on after a soak in the pool - the hire towels just couldn't compete. Great value, excellent quality and perfectly sized for adults - highly recommended.

Good quality 100% fluffy cotton beach towels. Nice size, dry quickly and are very soft even after washing. Great price too!

These towels are great. Lovely and thick without being too bulky to take on holiday and a nice big size. The colours are bright and they've washed well.

Lovely towels, washed as soon as they arrived according to the instructions, unfortunately the colour ran. Washed again using colour grabber but very little difference. Disappointed.

Beautiful, soft and a good size. Only negative is that they are very slow to dry and absorb a lot of the water, which goes against what you need from this type of towel.
