Looks good the material is that same leather you would get at hot topic accessories. Buckles are probably the more flimsy part but it's a good start for up grades! Fit is large, I'm 5 9 160 , fits big ill have to bulk up . Assembly, will need help buckling. Or upgrade the buckles to make it easier.

Like many have said strong odor, but it does go away. Other than that. It is pretty good quality fits my costume perfect. It is a little hard to put on by yourself. Will need help strapping it up

I'm 6'2", 220 lbs with a "barrel chest" and this didn't fit that well. The straps just aren't enough to hold it tight and it tends to buckle out around the abdomen. The shoulder pads come very flat and had to be rolled up to give them some curve, but the main problem with them is that a single snap holds them on. They fall off constantly. I'd say the quality if good overall, but it needs more / better straps and a better way to attach the shoulders. If you want to use this for a base and can fix the straps / shoulders, it might e ok.

I returned this item faster than waiting for it to arrive. Given my measurements the item arrive way to large. The chest plate would have fit a man at 6 foot 4 inches and the shoulder pauldrons were so bulky it looked ridiculously stupid. The seller would not work with me for a easy refund. He denied a prepaid return label which would have cost me half of what the item cost. He's a third party seller. Amazon tried to have the seller work with me and wouldn't. Amazon ended refunding me the money through a claim against the seller without returning the item.

5'10" 205 lbs, fits well with room different sizes. Good thickness to material and responds well to reshaping. Worth the cost. Only critic would that I wish the straps used for adjusting were a bit thicker. They are awfully thin and I worry about the longevity of them.
