This is a great little gadget for allowing your front load washer to dry out. My laundry area is along a hallway to a back door the dogs go out a lot so I always had to keep my washer closed and it started getting gross and stinky so I was constantly wiping it out with paper towels after each load and with Lysol wipes before every load. Then I found this! The magnet is strong and works great to keep it where I put it and the shape holds the door barely open to let air get in and out without letting it open too much to be a hazard for me or my dogs. Seems durable and of nice quality rubbery material. All I had to do was pop the magnet onto the front of my washer and bend it to shape. Couldn’t get any easier.

I was skeptical about the effectiveness of the washing machine e door prop but It is perfect. It has a strong magnet to stick to the machine. The prop is strong and I was able to move it to the correct position to hold the door partially open. I don’t notice the odor in the washing machine now. It’s easy to use.

I previously used a stack of sponges strategically placed to hold my washer door open. I found this little beauty and goodbye sponges. Our washer is next to the garage door, preventing me from leaving the washer open during the day. I try leave the door open at bedtime but I often forget. This way it is always open a crack. You can adjust how much you want the door to be open. You can choose where you want the magnet be. You can rotate it out of the way or pull it off. It’s a strong magnet but easy to get off. It seems well made and I expect it will outlive us both. Plenty of pics so I am not adding. I love the bright blue against my dark gray washer. It’s definitely working. I do highly recommend this.

Help with that STANK!! Our washing machine handles a lot. Five animals, two teens, two full-time working parents - we make a LOT of laundry so anything I can do to keep our washing machine fresh is necessary. I have to swipe the hair out of the washer regularly but when the door gets shut for a couple days at a time as laundry piles up the remnants of anything in the barrel plus a moist environment are grounds for the most vile stink transferring to our clothes even if they’re not stinky already. This device is very functional and quickly has become part of a necessary maintenance piece to keep our washer from stinking. You have to have some air flow in there so it won’t mold. This device has a powerful magnet, looks sleek and is just as easy to bend into our door opening after each use. It comes with a screw-in arm that fits easily into the base and stays relatively tight. If it loosens up you just turn the arm on the base to re-tighten. I also like that the device still allows the closet doors to close while keeping the washer door just barely cracked open. This item is a great value. You just stick it to your washer to install and you’re done -easy. You may have to remind the people in the house they don’t want stinky clothes to get them to use it regularly but it was surprisingly easy to get my people to do it when they understood the purpose, Love this thing. It feels sturdy but if it breaks somehow I’ll order it again. I kinda want one for my dishwasher next.

We have an LG washer which has it's own built-in plunger that keeps the door from closing all the way and latching when you want it open slightly to air out. This device just adds a little more to the opening to ensure that the drum airs out properly in between loads. Genius idea and at less than $10, more than worth the money. I do wish the magnet was a tad weaker as I worry about marring the finish on my washer whenever I remove it to wash clothes but other than that, it's a five-star purchase.

This is good and very sturdy

Does the job. Keeps the door ajar without swinging all the way open. It has kind of a play doh feel to the way it bends, so u can shape it however u want. Magnet is strong, doesn’t pop off.

So simple yet so smart. We were having issues with mildew growing on the seal of our washing machine. So happy to have this product. Have not had mildew or smell issues since we began using the door prop. This is a game changer.

Review edited on July 28/25 - we have had this for under a year and the metal that bends to create a shape to hold your door has broke at the bottom, close to where the magnet is. This makes it harder to create a shape that stays and doesn’t work as well as it did before. We are still able to make it function for us but just isn’t as sturdy as when we got it. I feel like it should last longer since it hasn’t even been a year. Maybe it’s just a defect and doesn’t happen to everyone though. I’d still give it 4 stars. Funciona exactamente como se puede apreciar en la imagen. Muy útil para mantener la puerta de la lavadora y/o secadora entre abierta lo suficientemente para dejar secar y respirar en interior. Se reducen los malos olores. Volvería a comprar A+++
