Brilliant book! I started painting rocks and as a person who can't draw, this book has turned me into somewhat of an artist. The pictures have the perfect number of steps in order to make the drawings as simple as possible to follow. It's great for me as an adult, but even my 6 year old is able to copy pictures from the book and paint them onto rocks also. I would definitely recommend and have in fact just also purchased other books from this range as I've successfully drawn/painted everything within this one!

I originally bought this for my son for Christmas. But when it arrived I thought it was too young a book to give to my 22yr old son so I gave it to his 9yr old sister instead. She loves this book very simple to follow on how to doodle anamie..

This is another drawing book for my daughters collection and she loves this book. Its super cute and fun even for adults :)

I can’t even draw a stick man but this book was so easy to follow and the results are adorable!

Very basic. Paper soaks up alcohol markers (my medium) a lot so easy a LOT of ink. Mostly for young kids to learn how to draw very basic things like a cup with a face.

I have several of Rachel Goldstein's books, which I buy for my grandchildren. Although I did buy one of the Cool Things books for myself and eventually passed it down to my granddaughter. I just received what I believe is her latest book. It is about how to draw those little Kawaii anime characters. They are cute little animals. They are relatively simple and pretty easy to draw. I gave it to my younger granddaughter yesterday. She loves it! She has already drawn a couple of the characters. She tells me they are a little easier to draw than the projects in her other books. Rachel Goldstein's learn to draw books are always great. Her step by step instructions are easy for youngsters to follow. I highly recommend them. Even if your youngster is not a fan of these anime characters I believe they will enjoy drawing them.

My 7 year old daughter loves to draw. I got this for her and she’s been extremely busy with it. The drawing directions are easy to follow and really cute.
