Amazing warmer, and easy to use...order more wax beads ahead of time!!
It’s pretty easy to get the warmer set up and to get the wax melted and then cooled to a good working temperature...for me 180 was about perfect for my legs...I used for my armpits on 160, but I was also waxing my daughter’s armpits too...I did mine first obviously to test out temperature and being that I have waxed or well attempted to wax my legs before with wax strips( the ones that you rub between your hands to warm up), the wax you microwave, and tried Nair...being that all of those options didn’t work well and were very painful with little to no result and actually a chemical burn from the Nair...I was going to be the guinea pig so to say...I will not say that this was completely pain free, but compared to previous methods it wasn’t bad at all. My daughter was thrilled at the fact that the hair won’t grow right back! She is 9 years old and I have been trimming her armpit hair down to essentially stubble every few days/week depending...I don’t feel she is ready for the responsibility of actually shaving yet. She said it wasn’t comfortable, but it wasn’t too bad either. Now one thing that I did find was that I thought the hair was long enough, but in reality I don’t think it was...everything says for longer hairs to apply in the direction of hair growth...yea that wasn’t very effective at all...I tried it against the growth like for shorter hairs and saw much better results! My legs are pretty smooth, but there is still like a stubble feel to them where some of the hairs were too short to be removed...but once I get all the hair on the same growth pattern the results will be even better! There is some irritation almost like razor burn on my inner calf, as shown in the pictures...that is also the area where some hair grows this direction and some grows that direction and every which direction! I was also going over and over this section trying to get the stubble feeling to go away before it clicked that I can’t see the hair I am trying to remove...so it’s probably way to short for the wax to be able to grip...lol The pictures are from this morning and I finished waxing yesterday afternoon... Order extra wax beads before beginning!!! Luckily I ordered another bag of wax beads because the little bags are great for doing your armpits, as one bag worked great for mine and my daughter’s armpits. When it came time to do my legs...WOW...I went through a LOT of them! Obviously I am still learning but I think I got pretty great results! The best way I found to apply the wax was against the hair growth and then to flip the stick over and using the wax on the back side of the stick and smooth it back in the direction of hair growth...seemed to make sure when the wax cooled that it had a good grip on the hairs, and got more complete hair removal. Definitely make sure that you use the before and after sprays...with the before spray make sure that it soaks in good before you start waxing otherwise the wax will not stick to you and will literally just roll back onto the stick...lol Being this was my first time waxing like this it took forever, but by the time I got to the second leg and had figured out a few things and it went a lot quicker! So set out a day to do this if you are brand new to self waxing like me...just so you don’t feel rushed!

Nice wax melter kit, great price!
Well it does what it’s supposed to do! Follow the instructions but definitely play with the temp and find what works for you. ***Update*** Okay so I’ve had this thing for several weeks now and despite being home and social distancing I have been using this every couple weeks. I’m no yeti or anything but thanks to my ancestry, I get a few stray hairs on the lip and chin and my eyebrows try to reinvent themselves more often than I’d like. Now when you go into the salon for the brow or lip wax they always manage to pull out that funhouse mirror that really accentuates those few errant chin hairs and they convince me to get that waxed too so Mmmm in one visit I usually end up spending as much for waxing as this little kit cost. HA HA!!!! Never again. I thought buying this would just ride me over until I felt comfortable going to the salon to get it done by them because I would suck so badly at this I’d never be able to fully commit. Well the first time I just tried my chin. There were few enough hairs there and not a change of straying off course and walking around missing half an eyebrow, so it was a safe starting point. The first try I had the wax cooled back off too much and tried to smear something akin to gum on my face. Tried again and it was just a tad thicker than it needed to be and saturated the cloth too much. Third time was just right and I got the pad in and adhered and whipped it off to super smooth perfection. A couple weeks later I did the chin flawlessly and decided it was time to upgrade to the lip. It was so easy and quick I decided I was ready to do between my eyebrows. That was almost perfectly executed. Finally, a couple weeks later I decided it was time to try the top of my brow line. It again took some practice and I learned the importance of making sure all my stay little whispy hairs around my hairline were properly restrained but I was able to get those picked out carefully and get a clean removal. Now I’ve done this several times and have hardly put a dent in the wax that initially came with it. This kit paid for itself in one session. Granted eventually you’ll have to buy more wax and the cloth strips (I bought those from Amazon too and the stack is huge and going to last a long while) but unless I decided to do my legs as well every other week, I don’t think that’s going to be any time soon. Suffice to say I’m now so glad I made this purchase.

Great wax warmer.
I've been wanting to get my own wax warmer for awhile. I was sick of using prewaxed strips that didn't get the work done, and was intrigued by a wax warmer and being able to control the wax myself. When I bought this warmer, I was a bit intimidated at first, but after using it several times already, I have it figured out I think. Now there's a lot of different parts to this, so I'll break it down: THE WAX WARMER: The warmer is very easy to use. I set it to about 210 degrees to melt the wax and then turn it down to somewhere around 200 so the wax isn't too hot to use. I like that the inside compartment can come out for easy cleaning. The lid fits well too. And this is random, but I like the long cord on the warmer. My bathroom only has one plugin, and the mirror I use is far away from it, so the cord allows me to move the warmer where I need it and don't drip wax on my floors. THE WAX: It's pretty good and does get hair off, but it might take a few applications to completely take all the hair off. There is a learning curve on the best way to apply it for the best results. THE STICKS: Well, they're sticks, so not too much to say about them. :P But they work well for the job. THE BEFORE/AFTER WAX SPRAYS: The Before Spray is fine. It's a light mist and the fragrance isn't overpowering. The After Spray though is very oily. The first time I used it, I had to wash it off because it felt gross. And I haven't used it since. So overall, I think this is a good wax warmer for anyone wanting to try one for the first time. After getting by the intimidation and some practice (There's some good online videos on how to best apply the wax), you'll be able to use this with ease.

The first time I bought this wax pot, I had never waxed myself before. I'm so glad I chose this one out of all the ones on Amazon because it's very beginner friendly. The pre & after wax sprays are cooling and non irritating to the skin. I will share the steps I take: **Take Shower & Exfoliate** **Put all sprays on rounds to apply** 1. Use the included pre wax spray 2. Cover the area in a thin layer of cornstarch 3. Wax thick layers in the direction of hair growth 4. Wax thin layers going against the hair growth 5. Use the included after wax spray Optional-- 6. Use Coochie brand ingrown hair spray 7. Apply pure Aloe Vera gel 8. Use a good hair growth inhibitor I usually have the heat somewhere between 180 - 200. 180 is good, but some days it's a little thick so I crank it up a notch. I always test on my wrist before I begin waxing. If you have sensitive skin like me, try to follow these steps and exfoliate every couple of days. You'll be golden and hair free for weeks. This was my second time purchasing this lil wax pot and I LOVE it. The first one must have got some wax around the rim somehow because I couldn't get the lid off after a while😅 Still worked otherwise. I very much recommend. Don't get the other one with the digital dial=trust me.

Great purchase has saved me lots of money
I am late on this review but after years of use, it has outlasted and out performed the most professional in store appointment. I have gotten better with practice and continue to love and enjoy this product.

Good, just a few flaws. But easily fixed.
The warmer is good, just get different wax beads though, first time I waxed with the beads that came with it, it was so frustrating and was too thin and ripped off in small pieces. This one is the yellow strips in the pictures. I got argan oil wax beads from SHEIN and used it for the second wax and omg what a difference. I will add picture for reference. This is the blue one. It did not rip off in pieces and it’s thick so it grasps better and just easier to use. You do have tiny tiny residue pieces left over that you just gently peel or wipe off after you apply the after wax spray. It should come off super easy. By the way the after wax spray is amazing. It takes the sting away and there is a lot of it in the bottle. So you will have it for multiple wax sessions. It did take 1 hour to do a full Brazilian. But hubby won’t let me go get it done because we need to save money 🙄 but it works and I have no hair at all in the south and I’m happy. Hurts like a B but listen that’s how much I hate shaving. I will never go back, even if I have to go through the pain it’s worth it! I also ordered sticks, it does not come with too many. I think I ordered 1,000 sticks in all different sizes.

First time waxer.
I'm a first time water, never when been to a salon for a wax. Watched a helpful video on YouTube on operating this warmer and another on waxing facial areas. I had a perfect first time experience with this warmer. Set on high to melt the beans, took about 5 min to melt, then I turned the temp between 180 and 200. Anything lower the wax was too hard to spread. Applied the wax in the direction of my hair growth and then lifted off the was in the opposite direction of hair growth. Super easy and I loved it. I did my entire face. I'm dark haired so I'm Chewbacca. Before I would shave and pluck. I tried strip waxes before and they are a joke. It's honestly weird touching my face now, it's so smooth. I'm never going to pluck or shave again. I found waxing my facial areas with this product to be much less painful. Now the underarms are a different story. My hair grows in different directions so I need to apply smaller sections next time. I did larger sections and (mind you, I have never waxed before) OUCH! lol. It was easier with each passing but I had to take a break and will go back and get the bits I missed. Remember I'm Chewbacca, so after three days of not shaving I had alot of hair! I also have extremely sensitive skin. I researched the beans in this product before purchasing and it said that this was for sensitive skin, it is! I had no breakouts! I waxed at night so my skin had ample time to settle before wearing makeup or anything. 100% reccoment this produuct!

It takes a learning curve
I used to use the type of wax you need a strip of paper to stick on it and pull it off. So using this for the first time was a bit tricky and it took me a looot longer to finish up an area than I was used to. I did however reminded myself it was the first try and it also took me a long time when I first waxed myself with the other type of wax as well. So now after 3 rounds I can say this is a great product. What I like the most is to not have to have strips of paper to make this work, the wax is not sticky and messy as the other one was (I've ruined several towels, rugs and many spots on my carpet because of that wax). It's good to point out that the wax beads go a very long way. With my initial kit I got a few small bags of beads and when I poured one bag into the pot I thought that wasn't gonna be enough for one waxing session, and I have now waxed myself with that same bag 3 times and still have wax left. You do need to be very careful with the temperature of the wax, or you could burn yourself easily! Make sure you are able to pick up a glob of wax with your spatula, without that glob immediately running off. That's when you know the consistency is conveying the correct temperature (you can also test on your wrist to make sure). The only con I can think if is that unfortunately I don't think this wax is good picking up peach fuzz as the messy and sticky one I was used to. When I tried to wax my lady mustache (you ladies know what I'm talking about), barely anything came off, when before I would get smooth soft skin. So that's unfortunate. But the many pros outweigh this con for me.
