Carmencita Paella Seasoning Mix – Traditional Spanish Rice Spices

Adds that certain something to give a super dish. For the two of us I don’t use the whole packet but you can experiment yourself to find how much or how little you prefer

Helps to make a tasty Paella

Wow! Making Paella’s a fairly fiddly business and, given the cost of decent Saffron, quite expensive. Finding this was a delight. It’s very generously packed with Saffon and substitutes all the crushing/grating/chopping with a simple sprinkle. Has multiple uses too (soups, sauces & even fried, baked and scrambled eggs). Will be a returning consumer!

Authentic Flavour and Easy to Use I picked up the Carmencita paella seasoning because I wanted an easy way to add proper flavour to rice dishes without having to measure lots of individual spices. The individual sachets were a big selling point, making it simple and convenient to use. When it arrived, it felt like a well thought out product with a good balance between quality and ease. In use, the flavour is rich and nicely balanced, with the saffron, paprika, and garlic coming through well without being overpowering. It gives rice a lovely golden colour and a proper paella style taste, even if you are just making a simple dish at home. The pre-measured sachets take away the guesswork, which is great if you want consistent results every time. Overall, this is a fantastic kitchen staple if you enjoy rice dishes or want to try making paella at home. It is easy to use, delivers great flavour, and works well beyond just traditional recipes. A really handy product that makes cooking feel a bit more authentic without the effort.

I first found this for sale in a supermarket in Portugal. It is brilliant for making Paella. All you need is a sachet and some cheap white wine to make a delicious authentic meal. No other spices are required.

yum scrum this spice mix is easy to use and reminds me of many spanish holidays.
