Original: Did not light up at night. Solar battery needs to be replaced (at our expense).Butterfly fell off nose and cracked 2 weeks after we received it.Disappointed!UPDATED: No longer disappointed; after I posted the original review about the light not working, the seller contacted me and replaced the light free of charge. The original item had to be returned due to a missing butterfly. The second order had a broken butterfly. From previous experience know Amazon will not allow a third replacement. So embarrassingly gifted it to a person experienced with glue, explaining my predicament. She thought the puppy cute, and would glue the butterfly back together. The butterfly after all day in the sun only stays lighted for about an hour. Highly disappointed. Would not recommend.

Very cheaply made and butterfly doesn’t fit well. Cat has a crack on it.

This is a cute cat statue. I love that the cat has a butterfly on his nose. The cat arrives without the butterfly in place. There are no directions. It would seem simple to push the butterfly on top of the light that is on the cat’s nose. Unfortunately, the butterfly does not wish to stay on the light. I am not sure if it is the butterfly (the opening for the light) that is too small, or the light is too big. It is barely sitting on the light. It pops off at the slightest touch. The cat is well-done. The statue is the right weight for a flower bed or to sit outside (not too light nor too heavy). The paint job is nicely done. I like the stripes and how the fur how movement. There is a solar panel on the back of the cat (on/off switch is on the bottom of the cat). During the day it collect sun so power the light at night. At dusk, the light comes on. It flashes different colors (yellow, white, blue, green, and red). If the butterfly stayed in place, I would love this piece. You need to the butterfly on top, so the cat statue makes sense. A cute cat garden statue, but it has a flaw.
