Good product just doesn't seem to seal until it is covered with water. When you place it in the sink hole, it feels like it will not keep the water from going down the drain, but when water pressure holds it down it does seal.

WOW…an immediate, perfect fix. I have struggled replacing sink stopper in bathroom for ten years. Cheap metal and plastic piece never attached or held completely tight.
