Worth the purchase for sure. Getting rid of the old, and burnt out, Halogen is a good idea.

A halogen bulb in an old ceiling fan went out, so I got these to replace it. The 3000 k temp is a perfect warm white -- not a bright, glaring white -- and is a perfect replacement for the old halogens. And since they are LEDs, no more HEAT pouring out of those old Halogens bulbs anymore. I should have replaced them with these LEDs years ago.

It is an excellent choice for those looking to replace 50-watt halogen bulbs with a more energy-efficient option.

Bought these for the light over my kitchen sink and wow are they bright! I do actually love them and I’m now realizing how dirty every single part of my kitchen is because I can now see. I would purchase these again in a heart beat there’s better quality than I had previously gotten at a local store and about a quarter of the price!

Finally found a LED bulb to replace the hot halogen bulbs in my vent-a-hood that I like.The wide 120 degree beam angle for this GU10 bulb gives a nice even light for a vent hood application. It accomplishes this by mounting the LED chips much closer to the surface of the bulb rather than deeper into the bulb cavity like many others. Those have much narrower beam angles which causes disturbing shadows on the cooktop and adjacent countertops. Also like the 3000K temp and CRI rating which compliments my granite backsplash and matches my other under cabinet LED lights.One drawback is that it isn't dimmable but that is difficult to do anyway with LED bulbs with the vent-a-hood simple 3 way light switch. So I can only use it at full intensity which is very bright but I'm happy using it that way because of the attractive lighting.

These lights are amazing, they are so bright and the hue of the light is perfect for my room. I can finally see everything I do right in front of my face. I have a bunch of these sockets all over my house but the lights that installed originally had a horrible yellow hue to them, they make my whole room feel and look so "old". plus when it was getting to be night and during night I couldn't see anything. not anymore.These new lights gave a more modern look to my room and now I'm going to be changing all the lights in my house. I'm going to attach 2 pictures to this review 1 of the old yellow lights and 1 of my room with the new lights. these lights were so bright that I didn't install 1 of the 3 slots I had available to me. 2 was more then enough for me. the company also supply's a bunch of different hues that will suit anyone's need. and the pictures in the amazon post do a very good job in showing what the hue will be when you are trying to pick what you want. I got exactly what I needed the first time around thanks to those picture, plus the price was amazing. also would like to mention that the install of these lights are easy with no problems.

I recently purchased a new range hood, but the light it came with had an annoying buzzing sound and was too dim. I found a 4W LED light bulb with a wide beam angle here, and it came in a great package and looked good. After replacing the original bulb with this one, the buzzing sound stopped. I love the wide beam angle and the warm-looking light. It perfectly fits the Hauslane range hood.
