Great product and easy to swap
My old diverter valve was buzzing and getting hot when nothing was on, so it was time to replace it (after 25yrs service!). This product was the identical replacement for me where I have either hot water, heating or both at the same time. Make sure you turn off the power to your programmer. My junction box was a tangle of wires and connectors so I cut the lead of the old power head valve flex lead just where it entered the box so that I could see the 'tails' and where to connect the same colour flex wires one 4 one. Obviously I removed the old coloured wires as I was doing it! Great product and worked perfectly first time. Honeywell 40003916-003 Replacement Power Head with Mid-Position Valves

Easy to fit if the wiring is clear.
If your wiring is a birds nest like mine be careful how you remove and replace the connections. Take a picture or pictures on your phone and make a drawing of the connections to be on the safe side. Make sure ALL the power is switched off before you start.

Quality part.
Was having problems with radiators coming on when hot water was being heated, not great in hot weather. Suspected when I checked the old unit that the gears inside unit had failed after 20 years use. Fitted the new unit, perfect fit and easy to install. 30yr old design that works fine. Went for original part as old one had lasted so long.

Tried and tested component.
Quality item as expected that has rectified my fault. A protraction delay in arrival which would have been annoying if the weather had been colder. Worth the wait for a quality item at a competitive price.

Tried alternatives and they lasted a year. Lesson here is worth paying for the genuine part!

like for like replacement
I had a problem with my central heating that sometimes there was no hot water. Traced it back to the diverter valve. Rather than change the complete valve, I bought this, a new power head. Took 10 minutes to swap over, and since then its worked perfectly.
