Helps hair and scalp feel squeaky clean - hair shines - I do use conditioner after, which I rinse out before styling. No greasiness feel to hair at all... soothing and clean ... great feeling. Use it 2 times per week between shampoo..I have short hair and wash my hair every day - something that is not recommended but this product seems to bring out the best for body and making hair manageable and shinny. For what seems like years I considered getting this and finally I splurged on myself because I'm worth it! ;) The experience of this shampoo is luxurious. You only need about a teaspoon of the salt paste applied to your hair and scalp. Just make sure your hair is wet first. What I noticed most about this right after I got out of the shower was how clean and refreshed my scalp was. Normally my scalp has been a little itchy lately and today I'm feeling total calm and no itching! When I feel my hair now that it is all dry I can sense the softness and I notice more body and fullness to my fine hair. This product does not weight down hair, but rather lightens it as it removes product build up. And if you use mousse or gel you will appreciate that aspect of this cleansing shampoo. Since you only need to use so little this is a good value! I love Goop products and can also recommend the lip balm which is so wonderful. I just got more! The scent of this salt scrub is also more like essential oils - it is not that strong but you can definitely tell there are essential oils in this! So a high-quality product. I'm happy I finally tried it and will get it again. But one container is going to last a while!!! You only are supposed to use it every three or so shampoos but I can see myself using it even more often because it is so fun to use. ~The Rebecca Review P.S. I wish I had found this product sooner! I have seborrheic dermatitis dermatitis on my scalp that can become quite painful and itchy. I have tried every product on the sun from manual massages, scrubs, and chemical exfoliants like shampoos with salicylic acid. Nothing has worked as well as this. I am very sensitive to smells and I really liked the smell of this and it did not aggravate my senses at all. It does not have a fake perfume scent. The salt granules work so well to exfoliate your scalp and dissolve unlike other scrubs that you have to work hard to get out of your hair. The scrub then foams up into a shampoo! It is so wonderful and worth the price! Treat yourself!

Used it for the first time and it really did smell and feel like a spa treatment. My scalp seems better, we shall see as time goes on. Pricey- but I am impressed so far!

This works so well to clean your hair & it lasts really love time

I’ve been using goop’s Himalayan Salt Scalp Scrub Shampoo and feel like I’m enjoying a mini spa treatment for my scalp with each use. As the directions say, I use it about every third wash. The whipped texture is luxurious yet gritty enough from the salt crystals to give a real exfoliating effect, without being harsh. The salt does a great job of clarifying and detoxing - it clears away buildup, oil, and impurities, but my hair doesn’t feel stripped. I would repurchase - also as it contains clean ingredients and is nice and thick making it easy to use.

I love the scent and the feeling of my scalp after. Help with dandruff. Feel like a spa experience.

I barely ever write reviews, who has time? This product is amazing. I have a very dry scalp, and thick hair. This scrub is a game changer. It scrubs really well, and lathers like regular shampoo, and I live in a house with (treated) hard water. I love this scrub shampoo!
